Rayfloyd August 24, 2012 August 24, 2012 I just had another question pop up in my head Basically I'm a migrainous man and have one about every week. Mostly the mondays and that is why I hate mondays. My migraine is always situated at the top back of my left eye and is pretty painful at times. Usually 3 tablets of Ibuprofen (Motrin) do not cut it before at least 2 hours Will I be more prone to getting a migraine while tulpaforcing?
Guest Anonymous August 24, 2012 August 24, 2012 Are you a cat named Garfield? I prescribe more lasagna. The process can be a strain on the brain. If you haven't forced yet, there is no way to know for sure. If I am recalling correctly, at least Bluesleeves has found that partaking in proper nutrition helped prevent tulpa creation headaches. Though it is hard to say if the common variety headaches will trigger a migraine. If they do, then proper exercise, nutrition, and not forcing for too long at once and not too much per day so you do not strain your brain too hard will be your best bet. That's only speculation, if you have no consistent trigger other than a permanent case of the Mondays, then you should be good.
Rayfloyd August 24, 2012 Author August 24, 2012 It seems to be mostly while working (Coder) on mondays. (More than often around 1-2pm) (Not dehydrated I drink a lot of water) Except than that it can be completly random at times. It runs in the family I think. Are you a cat named Garfield? I learned about tulpas today and looking into as I find the concept very neat. So no I have not yet started and don't even know what I would create. First thing that comes to mind is a pony but it's up for suggestion as I'm quite not ready and wouldn't even know which one of them, I think I'd have to rewatch the episodes as my fav pone changes every other week.
Phi August 24, 2012 August 24, 2012 I would say yes. As far as progress goes, stopping because of a migraine in the middle of a session won't be very detrimental, so the only problem is whether or not you can deal with it or not. I recommend a more passive approach. Try shorter sessions rather than longer, more intense ones. I recommend a wonderland method rather than a personality stage method, unless visualizing too much triggers them. If so, use a personality stage method instead. Put more focus on narration than anything, since that doesn't require hard concentration so much as just remembering to do it. This should minimize migraines, but won't stop them all.

I have low imagination so I have doubts about the wonderland approach. However I will sure do listen your advice on narration. And I was already pretty much aware I wouldn't be able to stop them all. Some are more endurable than others also. And knowing that stopping mid-process because of a migraine ain't too detrimental is a good thing to know. Thanks for answering it's greatly appreciated.
