Guest CaptFlushing September 2, 2012 September 2, 2012 So about a week ago, I made a post about how Molly seemed to vanish partway through a forcing session. The good news is that since then, I've gotten some signs that she seems to be at least somewhat sentient, including that the pressure seems to move around a lot, whereas it had been stationary beforehand. I still think it's a bit premature, as it occurred after about 8.5 hours of forcing total, and on a fairly inconsistent schedule at that (although I've been better at it as of late), but I feel pretty good about the progress that I had made. However, during my past few attempts at forcing, Molly has been difficult to hold in my 'field of view' for more than a few seconds. After a few days of this, I think I may have figured out the problem: When I visualize, the space that I interact with Molly in is a 2-dimesional plane that extends outward from the center of my head. Molly takes the form of a marble-like orb that corresponds with the point of pressure in my head that represents her presence. When the point moves, I visualize the orb moving with the pressure. When I did detect Molly's presence during the past few sessions, the pressure I felt was all the way at the edge of the back of my head, and only stayed there for a few seconds. I'm thinking that Molly may have moved to a point on the plane outside of my head, so to speak. The problem is, I can't see past my head. If I want to be able to continue working on this properly, I need to either get Molly to stay in my head, or find some way to 'leave' my head so I can go to her. I'd honestly prefer the latter, but I don't know how to do either one of those. Does anyone have any advice? I'd like to get as much work done as possible before the school year starts, and this is proving to be a serious barrier.
Sandwichman September 2, 2012 September 2, 2012 I've had similar problems. Sometimes Rei stays on my periphery of my field of vision. Sometimes i just keep trying to get her to center, sometimes i try to move her but i still feel her essence on the outside of my field of vision, and sometimes I wait it out. But I would love to see what others have to say about this. Name: Rei Human Female Stage:Vocal(Mindvoice) Visualization, Narration
Chupi September 3, 2012 September 3, 2012 Don't try to sync visualized location with head pressure location if the head pressure is moving somewhere that makes it hard to visualize her. Just visualize her in front of you. Since she's currently a marble you might visualize holding her in your hand, on some sort of stand, or just floating. IMO, head pressure isn't the same as a feeling of presence. After you're used to visualizing her and you develop a connection with her, you'll start to have a feeling like there's someone there in front of you when you have her there. I've already resolved the problem, actually, but comparing tonight's session with the past few nights, you're absolutely right. Except that she's usually off to the right rather than in front.
