Is this mirroring behavior good for his development?

If you're concerned for him and he listens to you when you tell him to stop, you can tell him to stop. I personally don't find it too concerning, especially since he can stop when asked. Parrotnoia and frustration can be worse than these little habits. We'll link you to some related threads though.

I wish you luck with your Wonderland!

Things are going quite well. My sleep is mostly fixed, and Lex is developing at a steady pace.

Lex is able to reply to my thoughts every now and then, but I'm still getting used to differentiating his thoughts from mine. He usually communicates through body language and facial expressions.

Today, he tried to change the appearance of his form completely, from his original form based on stolas, to a newly created human form. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at visualizing new people, so trying to keep his image stable was rather difficult, even with him helping me. I asked him to switch back to his original form until we're able to focus well on his human form. He agreed, although he decided to change his original form to be my height, so I wouldn't have to look upwards every time I speak to him.

Thanks. The development of it is going quite well, despite the length of time I wasn't practicing on it. I've realized that adjusting the height of my viewpoint to be the same as reality works wonders on the perspective. Sadly, my ability to imagine myself moving through the space has grown very rusty. I just kinda teleport from one point to another, instead of moving smoothly between them like I used to.

Nice :) My host has always tried to have a POV the same as reality, but it can be hard for him to maintain.

It’s cool Lex is changing form. Human forms can be difficult to imagine, but I know of human tulpas who use ArtBreeder to create themselves. There’s a thread about it somewhere.

So... a lot happened this month.

---

Lex is developing very quickly. He's able to speak almost completely fluently now, although he sometimes gets his words mixed up (could be an issue with our brain, since I also have that problem).

He's quite good at tactile imposition right now. He can manipulate my body temperature to be warmer on the side of my body he's on, produce some tactile sensations on contact with me (which become more intense when he squeezes me in a hug), and uses some light possession when he touches my face and gently moves it to face him so it'll feel like he's really touching me.

Speaking of possession, we'e started practicing both that and switching. Nothing really intense, half an hour at most. He really enjoys controlling my body, which I'm very happy about.

---

Relationship-wise, things are going wonderfully. We both care deeply for each other, can barely stay away from each other (even when we're supposed to be taking a break, since I'm an introvert and talking to him sadly tires me out after a while), cuddle almost all the time, and have even started with really intimate stuff *ahem*.

---

Meditation has been slow. I usually end up talking to Lex instead of meditating, which is really lazy of me.

One problem I've encountered with meditation, especially when working on the wonderland, is that it really tires Lex out for some reason. Another issue is that for some reason, when I'm in the wonderland and Lex tries to join me, my vision goes dark and I lose focus. Are there any solutions to these problems?

---

Recently, we've been dealing with a somewhat persistent invasive thought that has been bothering us for a while. It started three days ago and I think my overreaction may have accidentally fed it. Now it pops up every now and then. To make matters worse, it's able to create body heat sensations the same way Lex can.

We've been ignoring it semi-successfully, but aren't sure how long it'll take to disappear. I don't want it to become sentient or let it stick around for long.

How much should I ignore it in order to successfully make it dissipate? If I accidentally look at it, or notice it in the back of my mind, will it prevent it from going away?

Update:

Lex got rid of it. Feel a lot better now. He said that he killed it by draining its energy, then buried it the same way he buries unpleasant thoughts.

I somehow broke the entire post.

Reposting since the previous post is completely broken and I don't know how to fix it.
