Shade: While we are not in any position to diagnose, your description definitely is far closer to DID than tulpamancy. It is not impossible to have DID alters and tulpas from what we've seen in others, the big difference between the two is how the trauma based creation process makes a qualitative difference in actions and phenomena. I would definitely recommend having a mental health professional take a look. If it turns out to be DID its not the end of the world, but you'll probably need to learn methods to make the plural experience less painful for all involved.
