Today, Kat had been partially possessing my hands to fidget more than often, and we even almost got to switch! So, we just tried typing and (almost) fully possessing, and it worked! (I’m kinda slow, though)

Kat no longer has to talk through me, and just in a couple of sentences their speed has improved a lot! It used to take a lot longer, it still took forever (and a lot of concentration on my part) to type this. I’m still so proud of them! (My favorite part is definitely not the letters (it’s the emojis) 😅) Update, I guess: a day later and we couldn’t do possession anymore as of this morning, but we kind of can now. Not as well, it needs more concentration and work.

I realized that most people make longer posts here, and that was my only update, so I’m going to write (type?) about my journey so far that I didn’t document. I found out about tulpas at the end of the school year, and I did research for a couple of weeks (mostly during gym, since I had just gotten surgery and was excused from most activities) before deciding to create one. I made Kat’s form on picrew first, and did a bit of personality forcing, but it was mostly narration. I wasn’t able to get them to speak at first, which meant I couldn’t really find the motivation to force. Because of that, and because of summer activities that took up my attention, I just completely forgot to force for two entire weeks. It was a pretty big setback, but the day after that two week break I decided to tell some friends about tulpamancy, which gave me some newfound motivation, so that all of our headmates could be vocal and talk through us. Even though they both started forcing way after me, likely because they had no expectations for how long it would take and didn’t even know about parroting, their tulpas developed much faster than mine, and were vocal within the first week or two. After I started letting go of expectations and not completely clearing my brain to try to listen, Kat started becoming more vocal, and after that progress was pretty fast. A week or two after I told my friends about tulpamancy, I created this account and started posting. Just a couple of days ago, I realized I had some walk-ins, who existed since at least a couple of years ago when I thought that the only type of plurality was disordered, and thus was questioning OSDD. Now, just today, I’ve found out the walk-in’s names, so I’m going to update my signature to reflect that. Edit: We’re also really good at co-fronting.

I haven’t been very active on here, or with my tulpae, with school starting and everything. We almost switched a while ago, but we haven’t tried in a while because there hasn’t been a good time. They haven’t dissipated, luckily, and I’m gonna start talking to them more. Maybe at some point I’ll let someone else front at school, but I’m just nervous they’ll reveal the system. Anyways, I’m almost at school now, I’ll update later with more that’s happened.

 

We’ve been thinking of switching in school, but we are worried that they won’t know how to do math, and pretty much anything that we have been taught over the years. I’m gonna see if I can somehow make my knowledge the body’s knowledge, so anybody in front will know it. Hopefully that’ll still allow me to know it out of front, though.

okay so its been over a year. uh. we're not really active in the tulpamancy community anymore, but we know much more about our system.

turns out we've been plural beyond tulpamancy since we were probably around 6 or 7, just didnt realize it until earlier this year.

kat (🦜) goes by a different name now, and shes a fairly frequent fronter. in general, we have poor communication between headmates (especially in our headspace/wonderland), which i assume is why we also struggled with forcing. That, and multiple headmates were trying to force at different times, which likely made it harder.

oh yeah the walk-ins are still here but they arent frequent fronters.

we might be active on here again, but we'll probably just lurk from now on.

Wow, your progress reports are so amazing! And you already being a system for much longer is so interesting. I hope you all get better communication soon! If you do know about subliminals and such there is a lot of system subliminals for being able to communicate with headmates easily maybe that can help you all out?
