LukeandLucinda April 10, 2024 April 10, 2024 Hi, so I’m new to tulpamancy and I’ve tried to create Tulpas before but it has failed. I think creating a tulpa that communicates through emotion would work well for me and I was wondering how I can create a tulpa that communicates through emotions and how I can recognize my tulpa’s emotions from my own. Thanks!
Lucilyn April 10, 2024 April 10, 2024 Tulpas actually communicate through emotion first/by default actually, "tulpish", communicating with thoughts/feelings/meaning rather than direct words It's harder to get to vocality because tulpas tend to sound like "you" or like you're controlling what they're saying early on, and if you can't get past that point by ignoring the doubt then your brain never gets the necessary practice of thinking thoughts for them instead of for you So the whole process, vocality or just tulpish, is about interacting with your tulpa and expecting responses, and giving them patience while they get a voice for themselves (literally or so-to-speak) Basically just talk to/at them while expecting that they're listening and wanting to respond, and don't be too critical about "whether it's them or not" early on because first of all it hardly matters in that phase (they will be able to speak/communicate much more clearly later), but second being critical and doubting tells your brain that it's not them and that you aren't hearing your tulpa, only yourself, and so your brain goes "Ah so that's what's going on" and yeah, you totally block progress Also even if your tulpa is vocal and able to talk in words, that doesn't prevent you from still communicating with tulpish/thoughts-and-feelings if that's your preference but normally a tulpa talking has both the words and the meaning/intent feelings behind the words at the same time, so it's not really a problem to have that mix Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Talk to us? https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
Autumn Ren April 10, 2024 April 10, 2024 Yes, emotions are a great way to communicate with them and my host used that to tell my headmates apart from intrusive thoughts. It was a great doubt killer too. So ask in your mind for them to do that as part of your forcing and don't be surprised if they do.
nomalicanomaly May 11, 2024 May 11, 2024 Soo basically, all tulpas communicate through emotions. Later they can speak in clearer sentences or words as they gain more autonomy. Especially at the sole beginning you can tell their emotions or simple messages or you can also try to interpret what they're saying, kind of like translating and choosing the best word to form a sentence. Also, (speaking from experience) you can ALWAYS feel your tulpas emotions. I guess it's because for example, let's take siamese twins; (those who have connected brain) it's been reported they could feel each others thoughts. So with tulpas it's like that, you can feel their thoughts, presence, whatever and they can feel yours or even help you recall things from your subconscious mind.. And they can feel yours too. So it's a deeper connection than you could have with everybody else with this world because you literally share minds
