The Incans July 21, 2024 July 21, 2024 Do you create NPC ('non player characters' like background characters in a video game..extra's on a film set etc) Tulpa for your sentient Tulpa's to interact with in their wonderland, or is it more like an 'holodeck' (on Star Trek) where everything is generated like them stepping into a virtual reality world ..complete with ....city full of people, wildlife etc ....or do they just live in an empty world? We don't like cities we love the wilderness and nature so we have a farm in a beautiful area...scenery is reproduced from favourite nature documentaries. we find images on google or watch video's. If they watch a program about a different country on TV we make it into an holodeck program (one of the outbuildings on the farm is a Holodeck) so like on Star Trek they can choose any program of their choice and go inside and visit anywhere in the real world, a video game world location eg Hyrule ... or even in space! (There's an Enterprise program too! 😀 ) They're never bored and when one comes to the front to co host with me they share snapshots of what they've been doing inside. TurboSimmie July 24, 2024 July 24, 2024 We don't really have NPCs in our wonderland unless you include animals. We have a pet cat named Nigel; he's an orange tabby. 🐈 There are also two pterosaurs (Quetzalcoatlus) who live nearby named Terry and Quetzy. We don't interact with them too much but we sometimes see them soring overhead. Oh, and I guess I lied because I almost forgot our nanny Stephie; she watches over James when Phil and I are both busy. There are birds and animals, but other sentient beings would be in danger of becoming tulpas themselves, and we've agreed: No more tulpas.
The Incans July 25, 2024 Author July 25, 2024 (edited) ok that's why we like the idea of holodecks as its just a virtual program ..kinda of like stepping into a video game for an hour's recreation but when you've finished it turns off and everything within in no longer exists until you start the game up again. so like for eg Me (Host) and Jess (Tulpa) have just finished playing the Spiderman game in the outside world so Jess will take those memories inside and make them into an holodeck program so other Tulpa's or Alters (we have both) can play in the 'spiderman program' if they want to. I can look inside (from the outside) and see them in the holodeck pretending to be spiderman as if they had a VR headset on so only they can see the program (unless others went in with them) even though I may not be playing the game myself at the time. The central community farm area though is where the Tulpa's and past hosts live. (There's 10 of us ... 6 alters - who share 'host duties' and 4 Tulpa of which 2 are 'fully sentient' and can also come to the front and host - Lena & Jess, who also post on here) That is always 'open' if you like as Lena lives there with her family. Jess likes to be close to me most of the time but does sometimes go back inside for a break to visit the others or play in the holodeck for a bit if I'm needing to sleep out here. She then updates me on what everyone's up to when I get up again. I have chronic fatigue so sometimes anything physical (even just playing on the games console) is too exhausting to attempt but my brain still needs mental stimulation so being able to just lie on the bed and watch what the others are doing inside feels comforting and helps me drift off for a bit Edited July 25, 2024 by The Incans typo Adult Host: JJ Tulpa Co-host: Jess Internal Tulpa Family: Phoenix (Nixy), Kitty, Angelo, Lily, Ralphie & Bear The Inca Trail
Zay Earthscale July 28, 2024 July 28, 2024 Ooh, this one's a fun one, I love making worlds for my Tulpas and for my fursonas/OC's. Sometimes, I come across some weird things in said worlds that usually have to be dealt with, this one time in one of my worlds, I had to clear out a dungeon full of some strange beings that I didn't regconized at all which is very weird, they were nothing like I've ever seen before in my life but, they were there somehow.

This is why we like the idea of Holodecks.!... there's no limit to what you can imagine you can have safety protocols in your holodecks like they do on star trek so your Tulpa can't get injured but they aren't stuck with one world if they're bored with it cos they all just different programs and not ongoing situations they can get themselves stuck in or depressed about...if they don't like where it's going they just 'end program' and start a new one! Mine are able to change form too so like Jess can be a dragon and go dragon racing in a Game of Thrones type wrold without me needing to have loads of Tulpa who are dragons and characters from that series. Lena has a program where she can visit me (as a child) with my dad and sibling (also as a toddler though in real life there was a much bigger age gap) this gives her opportunity to 'play mummy' and have an internal partner as it's not something that can happen in the outside world. Also, though she never changes from human form, Lena does like to change her appearance to match characters in games eg she loved Emily from stardew valley so at one point so changed her inner appearance to match an artists pic of Emily.. (with blue hair) At the minute we've just got Winds of Anthos cos there's a character called Lena in (though it's spelt 'Lina' in the game)...so now she's aged down to look similar with red 'corkscrew pigtails'! ...but only when we're playing the game. Jess wants to play as the main (human) character but is wanting to change her name to 'Jessy-Lee' and play a more 'tomboy style' character'. ..sometimes though as the story progresses and we're interacting more with other animals or NPC's she often switches to looking like the character the player is interacting with...really there is no limits to the human imagination! We find video games adventures a great way to encourage creativity in Tulpa's as they often start copying the video game world exactly in the inside then you see their own creativity coming in..like. 'I really like this element (of the game) but I want to change this so our version has X instead'. etc. I think it's easier than starting from a completely blank slate and it's fun for us all to share ..starting a completely new adventure game together.
