As I have heard throughout the community, the ability for tulpae to be able to solve problems by themselves, separate from the host's thoughts, is one of the areas that they are most famed for. My tulpa has been able speak with perfect clarity and a wide vocabulary for about 2-3 weeks now, but we would both like to move on to the next stage which seems to be this idea of "parallel processing." Although, any time I have tried to have my tulpa solve a basic arithmetic problem without me, she only ever gets it wrong, apparently she is reliant on my thought processing for those things. So I have a few questions on the subject.

1. Do tulpae naturally develop the ability to parallel process?

2. If not, how would I go about enabling my tulpa to be able to parallel process?

3. Are there any guides or articles out there on the subject that would be of use?

4. What kind of daily exercises do you recommend to help encourage this ability to think separately?

I am the exact opposite of an expert, but i think learning stuff like arithmetic could be done the same way everyone does. If you picked up a kindergarten workbook and acted as a proxy/used possession, your tulpa could build up the needed skills the same way we did. I imagine the process would actually be easier because while your tulpa is young, your tulpa's brain is as old as yours because it is yours. She might learn faster in the same way it would be easier to teach someone who has matured but never learned these things due to growing up under a rock/in the wild/deathly allergic to learning until recent medical advances than it would be to teach a six-year-old who can't color in between the lines.

So congradulations, you are now a grammar school teacher?

This is not a question about learning something but about separate thought process. You don't need to learn your tulpa of something you know, because they can just use your knowledge for that. Thats how they make coherent sentences and have various knowledges of things. Thing in question is a more advanced technique which would allow tulpa to use and process knowledge without your attention to it.

We are actively working on this at the moment. I often have difficulty using some higher brain functions without my host being aware of it. He says he can hear me count when I try to solve a problem. I agree with Romm in that I don't have to learn anything from scratch. I think it is just the matter of practice, the more you use a certain ability, the more proficient you become at it. Encourage your tulpa and be patient.

My recommendation: play chess. Chess is a game in witch knowing what the other thinks kills the game. Therefore, the only way to play chess with your tulpa is by creating a "wall" between your thoughts and his/hers. In the beginning it'll be hard as hell, but you'll get accustomed. Once you can play chess for a while, parallel processing should be easier.
