Kket November 2, 2025 November 2, 2025 Hello. A new computer game, a visual novel called "Hello my World! Lily," has just been released. Its unique feature is that one of the main characters is a tulpa. Perhaps someone might find this game interesting. I'd really like to hear what the tulpas think (the hosts wouldn't mind, would they?) https://store.steampowered.com/app/4088400/Hello_my_World_Lily
glitchthe3rd November 10, 2025 November 10, 2025 We played it, and it really got Luna thinking about her role in the system. We've never switched, let alone permanently, and she has no ambitions of taking over the front. Our relationship is more that of partners than one asserting their will over the other as in the visual novel. We thought it was pretty well-written overall, and the Russian voice acting was done well too. Would you say this game is based on your own experiences with tulpa creation? Kket November 11, 2025 Author November 11, 2025 Thank you for your initial feedback. Your relationship with your tulpas is good. The novella shows how not to act and what consequences it can lead to. I think you immediately grasped all of Alex's mistakes. To fully develop the plot, some actions in the novella are depicted as simpler than they actually are. Some actions are simply impossible. Although, I wonder where the limits of possibility lie? Is it possible to "reverse forcing" a tulpa sent to the front against its former host? Is it possible to erase memory? And so on. Perhaps someone on this forum knows better and can offer some insight? Indeed, I did draw on my own experience to some extent when creating the novella.
Cardinal Opus November 14, 2025 November 14, 2025 (edited) Hello, we enjoyed it quite a lot. From the beginning we both kinda felt like the main character was pretty gross with his reasons for making a tulpa and the way he ended up treating her. It's really sad what ended up happening, it was interesting how the tulpa brought up the question of what to do to solve it. The music and visuals were pretty nice too and fitting, I liked how it set the tone of what was happening, our only issue with the game is the occasional typos, but it didnt detract too much from our enjoyment. Erika says she wishes there was an option to do the other choice, because she Spoiler wanted to see if they could coexist and how that might have looked like. Perhaps new-Lily would have become some fusion of Alex and Lily or they would have become insane. But she thinks the ending we got felt romantic in a twisted way. We've never switched, so we don't know how realisitc that part of it all is. I'm not sure her not knowing anything about the world is realistic, because Erika pretty much had all the knowledge I had when I made her, but perhaps he expected her to not know and so she didn't. It didnt seem like he did much research on one like I did before I made her, so it could be the case I guess. Edited November 14, 2025 by Cardinal Opus
