“What did King Khafre call the Great Sphinx that he built?”

Because there is no documented name for it.
He said: “The Guide.”

When I reviewed the meaning, it was “the one of power and the guide.”
Guess what —
the pronunciation turned out to be “Sekhem,”
and from there appeared the goddess “Sekhmet,”
with the same meaning and the lion symbolism.
But I also heard, faintly fading away, “Menes,”
who is the founder and unifier of Egypt. 🥰💕🌸
