I first heard of tulpamancey from /x/, who lead me to /mlp/, who in turn lead me here. As someone who enjoys both learning psychology, and studying others spiritual beliefs, this is an extremely interesting topic.

 

After reading several threads/logs/guides I have decided that it would be insane to deny that something real was happening, although I'm still really skeptical. I decided to satisfy my curiosity. With permission from my boyfriend, guidance from my grandma, and a dad who is equally curios as I am, I have decided to start tulpaforcing.

 

First, a bit about my self

 

My name is Felix and I'm currently 21 years old. I grew up with pothead mother, a therapist dad, and a grandmother with an interest in the paranormal. After starting collage I made several friends who also have an interest in psychology, who are encouraging me to try this simply for the sake of science. One of my friends, who lives with me and my bf, is also making one herself, but refuses to make an account until one of us makes progress. (If she makes one I'll link you guys to her)

 

Day 1

 

So far I have created a quick list of personality traits for my tulpa. I have yet to name it or create a form, I will let the tulpa do this once it becomes sentient. I'm currently working on defining and expanding the trait list.

 

I have decided to try and force every night for thirty minutes, a full hour on Saturdays.

 

Will list all the traits tomorrow.

 

Day 5

 

So much for "posting traits tomorrow" goddamn lousy Internet.

 

Here's what I'm starting with:

-Mature

Some of the trait conflict slightly, but I think it will work out in the end, since most people have conflicting traits anyway.

 

I missed Thursday's session, but had an hour session on Friday as an apology of sorts to my Tulpa.

 

I've been feeling a slight pressure in my head for the past few days, but I've been told that thats normal.

 

Day 6

 

Today was the most productive day so far. Forced for thirty minutes this morning and something awesome happened. I was working on the personality, when I started thinking how weird it was that I was calling my Tulpa it. Then the name Leana popped into my head.

 

I've never heard or read this name anywhere so I have to assume this is Leana naming herself.

 

I'm super psyched so I'm gonna force for thirty more minutes later tonight, probably going to focus on starting a wonderland.

 

Day 7

 

Nothing to interesting happened today, mainly forced on my wonderland.

 

Going to visit my boyfriend's mother tomorrow, gonna force on the trip.

 

Day 8

 

Today was very interesting. Forced in the car on the way to my boyfriend's mother's house. Leana's form is starting to take shape, she appears humanoid, her image is still to vague to make out.

 

When we got to her house things started to get interesting. For the sake of Anonymity I'm gonna call her "Jane".

 

See, and I know this is rude to say but, Jane is one of those stereotypical old gypsy ladies, doing card readings and blaming everything on spirits and what not.

 

When we sat down for dinner she got very uncomfortable, and began staring at me. I've known Jane for two years, and shes usually very nice to me, so this was very odd.

 

Uncomfortable, I went to the bathroom. When I came back I found her and Josh arguing. When I walked through the door she flipped out on me and dropped her plate.

 

She started yelling about how I had a tainted aura and that my mind was not my own. She then went on to yell about how "I was such a pure boy before the spirits." and that I "...shouldn't be tampering with forces I know nothing about."

 

She then kicked us out of her house, and told me not to come back until I reclaim my mind.

 

Her cooking sucked anyway....

Protip: Assume sentience from the start. Don't wait for your tulpa to become sentient; he/she is from the beginning.

You don't need to force every night at the same time for the same amount of time- whenever you can i good enough.

I plan on doing that. Its a little weird imagining something without an image, so for now I'm just imagining a little orb-like thing, is this ok or will it interfere with the process somehow?

When i began with Eve's creation,she started out as an orb and later she chose her current form all by herself.So there is nothing wrong with this.

Day 12

 

Got my wonderland down over the past few days.

 

Its a spaceship that I used to have frequent dreams of as a kid. Its very large, and the outside is a cold gray. Its currently in orbit around Earth.

 

The inside of the pilots room is very futuristic, as is

a corridor that leads to 4 rooms. One of these rooms is the same as mine and Josh's. Another room looks similar to what I think is basic teenager's room, large bed, an odd shelf, beanbag chairs, a computer. The walls are a pale red, almost pink. I think this is Leana's room.

 

On the wall opposite the bedrooms, there is a door leading into what I think is some kind of hobby room or something. There's a large bookshelf, a medium sized canvas, a lounge chair, a box with some kind of art kit, and a dresser which I can't open.

 

The other door leads to an empty room, with white walls and floors. When I walk into this room, I suddenly become black and white, all color vanishing, and I get this empty feeling. I have no idea what the point of this room is and it scares me a little. I think that if I every want more rooms I'll just create them somewhere else and leave this one alone.

 

I can kinda see Leana, but her form is really blury, I think its because she has no defined form yet. She vanishes when I step into the white room.

 

Gonna go force on her form for a while, might post later. If not then I will tomorrow.

 

Quick update:

Leana's form is coming more into focus. She has lovely layered blond hair, that comes to about her shoulders. She is about 5'2". She doesn't have clothes yet, and I still can't see her face, but its progress.

 

I was in the white room again. There was this small white orb with a gray outline, that I could barely see against the background color. When I let it out of the room, the center of it became a pale red, similar to the walls of what I think is Leana's room. Its following Leana around in the wonderland now, she seems to like it, and I don't think its threatening. But I boarded up the door to the white room anyway, just to be safe.

 

Day 13

 

Got high with Mom today, somewhere along the lines I brought up tulpamancey. She seemed weirded out at first, but after a while she seemed cool with it. She decided to make her own.

 

Leana's form is in focus now. Although I'm only able to visualize her if I do the wonderland also, gonna work on that. She's still not vocal, but I'm sensing emotions from her a lot now, even when not in the wonderland.

 

Leana has taken to carrying that orb around with her, its center keeps getting darker red. Whenever I get near the orb I get terrible headaches that don't go away unless I leave the wonderland. After explaining this to Leana, she decided to only carry it around when I'm not super close. I okay-ed this because I don't what to seperate her from her friend/pet/whatever the hell it is. The white room's door turned gray like the rest of them, instead of white.

 

I'm thinking about adding a kitchen so I can teach Leana to cook, the only problem with this is that I'll have to lean to cook first.

 

Included a pic I drew of Leana, in the attachment, please excuse my crappy drawing. I have no idea what women's underwear are typically like, so I used the set I bought my friend Clair for Christmas. Its a little suggestive, but I guess it will do. I'm currently working on visualizing that outfit onto her so she isn't running around my ship naked.

Day 15

 

Merry Christmas fellow tulpamancers!

 

Forced for four hours straight as a present for Leana. Tired as fuck now, but it was worth it.

We had a small conversation about her orb friend, I didn't really get much info out of her since she could only shake her head at the time.

 

She also said her first word during this little chat.

 

When I asked her if it had a name she shook her head yes and started smiling. When I asked her what the orb's name was, she replied "Mitzu."

 

I was so overcome with joy I didn't know what to say, so I just gave her a hug.

 

She seems more lively now, actually doing something other that just floating around. I found her in her room, looking around as though she was surveying her territory.

 

She can also answer simple yes or no questions now.

 

I still get headaches when I'm around Leana and "Mitzu" at the same time, but they're not as bad as when Mitzu first showed up.

 

The kitchen is almost complete, just gotta imagine up a stove and figure out what color to make the walls.

 

The white room also un-boarded itself today. I took a quick peak inside, and nothing has changed. I decided to leave it un-boarded.

 

In other, sadder, tulpa related news, my roommate Clair decided to give up on her tulpa today. As a result we kinda got in a argument, which Josh had to separate.

 

My mom is determined to make hers, she decided to use FAQ Man's methods, rather than a combination of guides like I did, but FAQ Man's guides are pretty good so I'm not worried. And yes, I made sure to warn her about hour counts.

Day 25

 

A large tree fell on my house and my power has been out for a while, so I'm posting from mom's house. I'd feel bad about not posting, but nobody reads this anyway.

 

I can now visualize Leana without the wonderland, and she now has a lovely dark red dress to wear around. She can also walk around the wonderland, rather than just float.

 

She is way more talkative now and has taken up a hobby of reading and an interest in medicine. I've added a small library filled with books I've read and random stories I've made up. I think that when the time comes I'll just connect a memory bank to the library. I've started reading up on medical crap at the local library and via the internet, specifically anatomy/blood related things. I don't find it very interesting, but Leana makes adorable little comments on it as I'm reading, so its worth it.

 

I'm making good progress on the kitchen, I've got all the appliances done, I've been busy collecting recipes and such. I taught Leana how to make grilled cheese yesterday, she did better than I did actually.

 

Mitzu has turned into a cat rather than just being an orb. According to Leana, Mitzu is where she put the traits she didn't want, so I guess Mitzu is sorta Leana's tulpa. She (he?) has started showing signs of sentience since I stopped ignoring her (him?). I've started working on visualizing Mitzu, but only succeeded in doing so when I also visualize the wonderland, like when I started out with Leana.

 

A new room appeared in the white room's spot, containing a cat bed, a toy crate, a scratching post, and other cat related things. This is definitely Mitzu's room. The white room moved from its spot to make room for the new room. There is now a sliding door on the floor that covers a set of stairs that lead down to the white room.

 

Mom's tulpa is currently in the form of an gray owl. She's still working on the personality, but she is making good progress. Clair still refuses to start forcing again, don't know why though, hopefully I'll figure out whats wrong.

Day 27

 

After much begging from Leana, I decided to put a guitar in the hobby room. Not sure what she needs it for, since neither of us can play it.

 

Mitzu now has a silver collar with a ruby in the center of it. The ruby really goes well with her white fur. I've decided to let Leana be in charge of Mitzu's development, since she seems to know what she is doing.

 

On an other, more awkward note, Leana has recently been pressuring me for intercourse. I've tried explaining to her that A) I don't see her that way, I see her as more of a sister and B) I like guys, but she still isn't giving up.
