Ponderings on the Limitations and Alternate Uses of Tantra

Yes, switching has been done. While switched out, the host can either experience a mental landscape fully vividly and manipulate it freely, or be imposed into the real world and experience it from that viewpoint. Either way, it's basically an OBE while the tulpa controls the body.

While not switched, the tulpa experiences exactly what I described. When in the wonderland, they experience that and can move around in it and interact with it as if it were real, although they can manipulate it in any way they please. When imposed, they experience reality from their point of view. Stuff the host can't physically see is filled in based on what the brain thinks is there. Objects can be interacted with and moved around to a limited extent, though doing so obviously creates an illusory copy of the object. For some (see JD1215), the original, real object can be hidden when the illusory copy is made, but this takes practice.

I haven't switched, and don't have proper imposition working yet (i.e. I can have them in the real world and know where they are, just not physically see them). What I described for switching is from those who have (there are a handful).

Regarding code: For the most part you aren't building a computer emulator. You're just using code to communicate to your subconscious what you want the servitor to do. For those who know computer languages, they're useful here because they can succinctly, clearly and unambiguously describe logic, cover all cases, etc. The action of writing the code also helps you think through exactly what you want it to do and how. Before that, you have a general idea of it, but if you put that into the servitor you'd likely see an edge case pretty soon that results in unwanted or indistinct behavior.
