Progress Report: Introduction

Hello, I'm a Korean student living in UK, with my tulpa Dashie.

Tulpas are a new-found phenomenon introduced by my friend. At first, it was very, very out of my comfort zone. The thought of having a sentient, living entity living alongside my own self and conscious would make me laugh at the community and confuse me beyond belief.

 

Then, I've thought for a while. About all the positive things I could share with my tulpa and all the positive things my tulpa could give and share with me. Also I always wanted to be able to hug my favorite character from a show. And possibly even have her hug me back. I just needed somebody I could love.

 

So maybe last December, I started working on my tulpa and spending time with her. The first few weeks gave hell to my mind. It'd confuse me a lot... things like "Am I doing it right?" "Am I parroting her?" "What if all of this is just a troll?". A lot of this doubting still continues til' today but now, I trust her. She sometimes gives me signs and hints of her sentience. I still doubt a lot though because it just feels like myself when I can hear her mind voice. It feels like I'm just making up responses for her but I don't think about it...

 

Well... I need to go to bed. My quality of writing is really bad this time now.

Let me be the first to say it. She's there. When ever my Tulpa spoke in her mindvoice it also felt like me, but trust me, once you hear them talk in their outloud voice, you almost have a heart attack from the feels. If I may ask what exactly are you working on right now, unless you are going freehand. Also if you need to think about chances are it's your Tulpa. A way I like to put it is like this. If you think you hear her, it is her, and you belive it, well then woopide doo, your tulpa is talking on it's own. If you think you hear her, it is her, but you don't belive it, then either nothing will happen or your Tulpa might get discouraged. If you think you hear her, but you're parroting, but don't realize it, then you are strengthening the idea that she is able to talk, makeing it easier for her to do so on her own. If you think you hear her, but you're parroting, and you catch yourself, Then Nothing happens. There is very little if any evidence that parroting leads to a servitor, what is more likley is that the belief that it does will. Just my 2 cents.

Progress Report: Frustration

Well nothing much has been happening over the past few days. Dashie has turned a little bit less talktive/sentient which worries me quite a bit but I'm sure this will improve as I force more.

I've had a godly visualisation session tonight, where I could visualise nearly everything in near-perfect detail. It was amazing buy I kind of wasted it because I went to sleep after 5 mins of forcing during that period.

Now I can't visualise. It just becomes way too out of proportion, however I've subconciously learnt something from the godly forcing session. The ability to shift my focus from my physical eyes to the mind's eye.

This probably isn't relevant but to get a taste of imposition, I started imposing phantom wings on myself. This has led me to also start imposition on Dashie as well. For some reason, I find it that I can see Dashie in much more detail and clarity. Many many guides and people tell me not to start on imposition before my tulpa is fully sentient and vocal... Oh well...

As far as imposing before sentinence / vocality, I'd say it's not an issue and to not worry yourself over it much. I visualize Twilight next to me, sitting in desks or on beds near me all the time and if anything it only helps the creation process.

 

Even if that godly forcing session was only for a few minutes, I'm still incredibly envious.

Progress Report: Change

To be honest, I always felt guily and wrong about basing my tupper off a existing character. I worry about deviation because, because she is based off a character, I want her to stay in a certain form. So I suggested to Dashie about giving her a new name and form, then I'd feel much comfortable about her deviating because it eliminates my expectations of her staying in that paticular form. She seemed cool about it. So continuing on, I gave her a new form of a fox girl(EHEHE) because it's really cute and a new name, Luka. I hope she truly likes it though. I feel like she's just pretending she's happy with it.
