Loveandkrieg April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 Hello. A question for everyone. This is not about early responses as in, "early in the tulpa creation", but as in very rapid ones. My Tulpa and I feel like she's on the cusp of being verbal. (She began as an experiment, and I chose not to give her a name - while I was very tired a while back she informed me of it, but I could only remember part of it. Ka or Ca. Only very recently did I finally puzzle together that her name is Catherine. ... ... Anyway!) She will sometimes give sudden thoughts, emotional or what I've taken to calling 'memetic' responses (not quite emotional, but rather concepts communicated in a way not using words) The interesting part here, at least to me, is that she'll sometimes do this before I've finished verbalizing a question. So to reiterate: I obviously know what I'm going to say mostly ahead of time, and I'm forming the sentence as I speak it, and she'll sometimes interrupt it with a response before the question has been set in full. "So what should we" "Pizza", "Are you" "I'm here", or the likes. I've asked, and as far as I can gather from the responses, the reason is something like that my question has been formed before I finish putting it forward, and she can read or hear it even before I actively say it. Is this common? Entirely unheard of? A good sign, or horror of horrors - - a bad one? I couldn't find this question while lurking around. Has anyone else had similar things happen? How long DOES a tulpa normally take to respond anyway?
Pronas April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 It's common for tulpas to answer stuff before you end asking it. I guess you could ask her to answer after you're done asking.
waffles April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 Well, you'll usually think up the question immediately, but take time to verbalise it. Your tulpa is in your head, and can hear your thoughts, even ones that haven't been 'spoken' in your mind. So, you think about a question and your tulpa gets and responds to that thought, before you're done 'saying' it. Yes, this is very common, and I think that more or less every vocal tulpa can do it. It's certainly a good sign anyway.
Guest Anonymous April 17, 2013 April 17, 2013 What Pronas said. Also, I call bullshit on not being vocal from the start, but that's just me. Just take it for what it is, and don't worry about it. Stay calm and force. Haaarrrrtttt, Moon Shooter ;D
