Hello, I had stumbled upon the idea of Tulpa about a week ago late at night, the next day I easily found the term of Tulpa and this site. Before I got invested in anything, I read up on the guides, other progress reports, and other odds and ends of the Tulpa.info site before I decided to create a Tulpa of my own.

I want to create a tulpa for three reasons:

  • To understand true sentience better for a long term goal I have.
  • For a life-long companion.
  • The whole idea of a Tulpa seemed to bring a great question to my head "Could I too create such a sentient being, finding out the bigger boundaries of the human mind?"

With those motivations in mind, it would of been hard for me to resist creating a Tulpa if I didn't want to.

I had started on my Tulpa on last Thursday, 4 days ago. His name is Axel and has already shown small and simple but clear 'mind-voice' responses in the 6.5 hours of active forcing that we've done, 4.5 of those hours I've spent working on his personality, which I have 31 of them, although unless you actually want me to put it on this progress report I wont.

In terms of visualization, I haven't gotten far, spent roughly around 1.5 hours on it, and while I may have the basics of Axel's form and the wonderland, I can't seem to immerse myself in the wonderland, not sure why though.

I think that's all that I have to report for today, sorry if it all seemed a little bland, my active forcing session today was cut short so I'm in a bit of a meh mood. If I have anything else to add or if I forgot something please remind me and I'll put it down.

We have the exact same reasons to make a tulpa. Although I want to create a tulpa to understand sentience, to create a sentient robot in the future as well!

"I don't care if you don't believe me, I don't need you to!"

Actually Surprisingly the long term goal I have is it create a sentient AI, so we have almost the same goal, that's pretty cool.

Good to see another face - I'll probably take a look over your progress from time to time and offer unwanted advice, that's kind of what I do.

Interested to see how things go for you, good luck!

Lol good ol' skeptical^

6/11/13

Well, today I got about 2 hours of Narration in today, and I thought it went wellish, one at 9am and one at 12 pm.

During the 9am session I narrated to Axel about my life starting from kindergarten to today, but something strange happened, I noticed tears down my face. I mean, sure I don't have the happiest past but I don't cry anymore while talking about it, so I'm a little confused, maybe it was my Tulpa showing emotion? I'm not sure although maybe.

The noon session didn't go as well though, I tried to do a bit of self hypnosis but I almost feel asleep doing so, and I wasn't able to exactly finish the session, but I got through half of it, talking to Axel about chess and then reading a few pages of The Examination.

That's all I have to report for today, I'll still try to passive force a bit and read some things to Axel today if I can.

That's bizzare because the same thing happened to me last night! But my experience was for a more obvious reason (I made it sound like tulpae were tools when messaging my friend).

But here is a really helpful link that is relatively off-topic, but I'm sure it'll help in the long run:

Not much Else got done today.

I got like maybe another hour at the most of tulpa forcing, interrupted by baking then eating brownies, Scouts, chores, etc, but on the bright side Axel is talking back more, so I have to be doing something right.

Tomorrow I’ll have to move the TulpaForcing sessions back a bit early to get them all done, got a bit of a summer job to do, and With all the E3 games coming up and the need to buy a chess board for me and Axel, I’m going to need money.

Oh by the way one of the likes I have planned for Axel is that he loves chess, because it’s a game of strategy and cunning.. that and he jsut likes to compete.

Zach out, see you tomorrow if I don’t have anything more to post.

Plans for the future and Questions

Well, I'm sorry for the void of progress updates, I've been busy with a bit of a job, although I wished it payed better and I also wish my employer wasn't a homophobic pro-life person, not much I can do, a job is a job.

Anyways today and yesterday I didn't get much forcing done, although I'm hoping today I can force later. I was thinking tomorrow and Sunday while I'm not celebrating father's day with my dad, I'll try to narrate as much as possible to Axel, then, two or three hours on monday, and hopefully, just maybe, if we're lucky, on Tuesday we could start auditory imposition, or whatever the correct term is called. For the thirty minutes that I've narrated so far, I talked to Axel about my thoughts on AI, how great swimming is, my annoying little brother, etc. I want to do more narration later tonight when it's darker but I'm drawing a blank, any suggestions?

Oh by the way I was also looking for tips on wonderland, because I was hoping after we reach either PP (Parallel Processing) or finish auditory imposition, which ever comes first, but I wanted to know what other people experienced and their methods first so I could sort of make my own hybrid method for creating my Wonderland.

Zach out, see you tomorrow in the early hours if I can.

Well Xeare has a very unique wonderland method that involves making your wonderland a replica of where you actually live.
