Hello, everyone! I'm fairly new to the forums, so I think the best place for me to start posting would be here.

So, to get down to business:

My tulpa's name is Dawn.

She's an anthromorphic fox, about 16 years old.

She's kind and caring, but will stand up for herself if need be.

I'm using information from the older guides by FAQ Man and Irish.

I might need to flesh out her personality a liiiiitle more, but so far so good.

I've started with the form, and moved on to imbuing it with the personality I created.

Within what short amount of time I've had (only about a week of forcing), I have her form and her personality. I plan on spending a little more time concentrating on those, to bring them to life further.

So far, I can only hear her mindvoice when I concentrate really hard, so I'm going to spend more time trying to get her to be more vocal.

I don't know if she's a tulpa quite yet, considering I can almost do the same sort of thing if I concentrate on any of the other characters I've created for stories and such, but maybe that's all a tulpa is before gaining further sentience and the like.

Day 2 of the log begins.

So, yesterday was quite a day for me. I spent all evening passive forcing, then had a half-hour session before bed, using Fede's tulpatone.

I told Dawn about religion, and from what I can gather, she's atheist, which surprises me because I believe in God.

It's nice to see she's deviating from my unconscious more, so I expect that pretty soon, I'll be able to stop worrying about parroting.

Dawn seems to like classic comedy shows like Three's Company, so I'm starting to expose her to more kinds of comedy, like Monty Python or How I Met Your Mother.

She was also a bit curious about video games, so I explained them to her. I plan on playing a bit of Mario Bros 3 today to show her a little more.

Overall, she seems pretty curious about everything me and my family enjoy.

In the meantime, I'm going to re-read a guide on vocal tulpas, seeing as I have her form down pat (though she seems to have gotten rid of her tail).

SHEESH! I've been REALLY busy recently, so now maybe I can finally give a progress update.

So!

It's been a fairly good week, as far as forcing goes. School's over now, so I should be able to get more done.

Recently, I showed Dawn a piano rendition of a song called "Fire Flower". I really enjoy it, so I expected she would. When I asked what she thought of it, she responded with "pretty". I never thought it was pretty, good yes, and catchy, but not pretty. That means that Dawn thought of something on her own, without drawing from my subconscious, which is really exciting.

She's done it only one other time, when she pulled a thought from my head and I told her she could do better than that. She replied, "can I?"

Yesterday, I realized Dawn didn't have as much personality as she should, so I'm working a little harder on that. I've had her drink bottles of personality traits, like kindness and assertiveness, giving each one a colour and a flavour. For example, "caring" was pink and sweet, like a strawberry milkshake, and "mischievous" was bluish and tasted like blue raspberry (also in a shot glass, as opposed to a bottle).

She actually ended up having two bottles of "fun-loving"!

Aside from that, not much has happened. I'm looking forward to when Dawn's finished, especially since she seems to really enjoy dancing.

Hopefully, the next update won't take quite so long to get around to.

2 months.

2 months since I've updated.

Partially because of a vacation, partially forgetting about this progress log.

Partially forgetting to force Dawn on a regular basis.

She was pretty angry, especially since I'd already told her I'd get better at remembering a week ago. That was also the last time I forced.

Y'know, sometimes, I feel like I'm a horrible host

We're past that now, though. I made it up to her by spending the night with her, talking, apologising, even dancing together.

I'm going back to school in a few days, so I've made a schedule, and I put tulpaforcing on it, just to make sure.

Dawn seems a lot happier now, and I'm glad.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to update this log more often, but I know I'm going to be forcing more.

SO! On to the actual progress:

Surprisingly, after that "break", Dawn seems more sentient than ever. I suppose the only reason I don't consider her to have full sentience yet is because she can't talk yet.

Also, I'm going to have to teach her about her tail. I've given her one, but for as long as she's existed, she's never used it.

Hoping nothing happens because of this "bump," and can't wait for my next update.

Hello again, forums!

Recently, I've built a wonderland.

In the center, where I started, there's a huge tree. When I saw it, Dawn put a swing on it, and began using it. There's a clearing around it, and then a forest. The tree actually has a door in it, to the south. That door leads down to a small living area inside the tree, where Dawn and I "live".

At first, the surrounding forest looked far away, but when I walked up to them, I found they were just really small trees (about 6.5'). This forest provides as a boundary between different segments of the wonderland, so I can focus on the individual segments, rather than a whole.

So after a bit of touch-oriented forcing under the tree, we went exploring. Dawn lead me north-west, and we found a log cabin. It was Alec's log cabin, from the game Mother 3. I wasn't too surprised, as I'm a bit of a nerd, and I recently finished said game.

I was surprised, though, when I opened the door and found Lucas (the game's hero) and his family sitting at a table, eating their supper.

They invited us in, and Dawn and I ate with them. She really enjoys tasting, from what I gather. Unfortunately, she was too busy eating her omelette to participate in the conversation, like I did.

After our supper, it started to get dark, so we headed back to the tree, where I showed Dawn the house inside the tree. I tried to play checkers with her, but that was somewhat difficult for me to imagine, so we just ended up playing a few rounds of Tic-Tac-Toe, then going to bed (when I left and went to bed in real life).

The next day, Dawn changed her outfit.

Instead of wearing her usual white tank top and jeans, she appeared in a sort of black trench coat and a black skirt. I don't know why she chose black, but it looks good on her. She's still barefoot though.

We tried to go exploring a bit more, heading north-east from the tree. The area we came to seemed too unstable, though. Sometimes it looked like a snow-covered mountain, sometimes it looked like a house, and sometimes it looked like a lone, skinny, pine tree.

Because I couldn't figure out what it was, I decided we should leave, and we spent the next little while watching the sun set. The tree has an odd property that lets us climb it as if we were Spiderman, so we sat on one of the tree's longer branches to watch it. It was beautiful; such a clear view.

When I decided we should get out of the tree, I scared Dawn a bit by jumping off the branch. The branch was pretty high up, maybe 15 feet, but because it's my wonderland, I landed on my hands and feet, unscathed. Then I asked Dawn to jump, and I caught her.

School's starting, now. I don't think I'll be able to force as much.

But I'll try!

My personal theory is that written characters can become sentient as well. So maybe it's not so much that she wasn't at this point, as that they were on the way there too.

I told Dawn about religion, and from what I can gather, she's atheist, which surprises me because I believe in God.

This reminds me of Flo. She's also religious, but her tulpa Forseen is a vocal atheist.

That's awesome! One of my first experiments with visualization was playing Earthbound in my head.

That's a neat idea. I'll have to try Tic-Tac-Toe.

I'm curious though: you use "colour" and "flavour", but then 6.5'. I thought the US was the only country that didn't use the metric system these days.

"'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
