During the creation process you will need to spend lots of time thinking about your tulpa, but it's not going to draw you in like a demon and make you obsess over it. Unless, like, you have a masturbation addiction problem and you made your tulpa your waifu all sexified and can't do anything other than jack off to her all day long now because you are always around what turns you on and that's now all you want to think about.
