Draconilian November 20, 2013 November 20, 2013 Hi, I just started forming my partner last night, as I was immensely fascinated with this subject and have always been obsessed with the mind. my story goes thus, for a long time, I've had my own dreamworld within my head, I very often visit it in my dreams, lucid or otherwise, and have from time to time conversed with beings that appear to be fragments of my personality there. It's somewhere I am comfortable. so last night, having done all my research, I cleared my mind and conjured up a tulpa and wonderland, the wonderland was rather basic, just a grassy field with generic fantasy setting surrounding it. a bit later into forcing, I realized I already had my own 'inner world' and wondered if we should go there, but I felt resistance, almost like indignance at being forced to move. does anyone have any explanation for this kind of thing? I'm surprised I even got an independent reaction after literally just concepting. Tulpa Name: Sceathe Appearance: Grey scaled Dragon with multicolored feathers, chameleonic scales (though he prefers grey) Sentience: Yes
eViLe_eAgLe November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 I have two states my mind is in usually, my fantasy state, when i'm not currently forcing or talking to my Tulpa, and another, where I have an epic high fantasy usually playing inside my head. I try and keep them in separate universes, when my Tulpa is more tangible, and can talk, I might incorporate the two so we can go on adventures, but until then, I keep them separate, I don't know if this is right or wrong, just stating what I do. I haven't felt and resistance though, that might be because mine are a general setting though, and not a specific place.
Quilten November 21, 2013 November 21, 2013 You are probably a little restrained from the transition between the worlds because you think of them in two distinctly different ways. One is for dreams, one is for your tulpa. This is fine and all, but if you wanted to, it would probably be a lot easier for you and your tulpa to develop with your surroundings if you use the dreamscape that you have already. If it's difficult, just think of it as inviting your tulpa to it, and you might feel less resistance.
