Allunova November 28, 2013 November 28, 2013 This sort of method makes much more sense to me. However, Should I write down with my left hand what is ringing in my head immediately after I though of what to say with my right hand.... or should I only listen for a response once I am ready to physically write with my left hand after finishing writing with my right. TL;DR My mind thinks faster than my hands can write, how do I approach writing conversations with this in mind...
left blank November 28, 2013 November 28, 2013 My mind thinks faster than my hands can write, how do I approach writing conversations with this in mind... As does everyone's. This exercise, however, is an attempt to bypass conscious thought (inner dialogue included) by coaxing the 'silent' subconscious. I linked relevant material in my posts within this thread. I would suggest using your non-dominant hand by allowing it to move in any way that you aren't directly controlling. Patience is everything: You may not get results in the first few minutes. The words, if there are any, may at first be non-sequitur, confusing, metaphorical, ambiguous psychological riddles. That's one way I know I'm doing it right.

I´m pretty sure it´s better to finish writing down the sentences you have started. In my case even if I hear them speaking while I write they often correct themselves or say something entirely different once I´m done writing. If he\she doesn´t add anything new after you´ve finished just write down what he\she said when you were still writing.
