I'd like a little bit more info here, but here's my suggestion: If s/he is sentient, then I would suggest simply resuming where you left off. If you stopped forcing very early in the creation process, then it's probably better to start over.

I've gone a couple of weeks before, and picked up without much trouble. I honestly feel like losing a Tulpa takes a whole lot longer than making one.
