Hello! My name is Alexander, though you can call me Alex, or Sonny, or any other name you'd like, I really don't mind.

I'm new to this topic in general. My friend been talking about it, though he didn't know it was a Tulpa until yesterday, he somehow managed to get one (four, for that matter) through Lucid Dreams and Sleeping Paralysis, I don't know. Anyway, I didn't really believe him at first, but now that it's proven that it exists, I caught interest, and did some (a lot of) reading about the subject, even thought I was only introduced to it just yesterday. Me and my other friend are going to do this.

So, I'm planning to start today, but the guides aren't very clear, and I don't like trusting guides because things like this vary between different people, and I was wondering, how should I start? I got an idea of what my "Wonderland" is, I know what my Tulpa will be, I know what her personality will be like in general, but, how do I start?

Also, is it recommended to start at this time? Because I have a 5 day trip in about 25 days, and I'm pretty certain I won't have any time for this in these 5 days.

Here is a link to the blog I'll be using to record my progress: http://sonnetskytulpa.tumblr.com/

Thanks in advance to whoever answers my questions, or just comments.

Firstly, welcome to the forums. I greatly suggest you put off working on your tulpa until you get back from your trip. The first stages of creation are important and you should devote attention to it.

Starting on your tulpa can basically go in 2 different ways, either through personality first and visualization later or visualization first and personality later.

If ypu feel comfident in your imagination skills, you could visualize your tulpa's body without much detail, and then "pour" it's personality into it. Anyways, you could get into the irc chat too to get some faster communication

Some people have suggested narrating from the very start, so you could do that. Just talk to your tulpa about what you're doing and how you're feeling, as much as you can throughout the day. Treat it like it's sentient and always with you. Some, including myself, wonder if there might be a benefit to speaking out loud as opposed to "in your head", as an extra acknowledgment by you that your Tulpa exists and is worthy of the effort.

Others don't start narrating until much later, when they've done a lot of personality forcing. If you want to do that, just follow FAQ man's guide and personality tables or any of the others posts about creating a personality for your tulpa.

Please note: I do not have a verbal/clearly sentient tulpa, and am still in the early stages of the process.

Any advice I give will not be proven effective, and should be seen as "food for thought" alone.

Thanks. I'm also wondering, what happens if I'm interrupted while tulpaforcing? Or if I fall asleep?
