forseriously June 28, 2012 Author June 28, 2012 well, as i go through my everyday life, usually i make commentaries in my head about stuff. Now, i'm directing my inner thoughts toward what i imagine to be my tulpa, and changing the words a bit so i'm pretending like i'm talking to someone. Then, in my idle time i try to visualize my tulpa with my eyes open. I do this at work when there's nothing to do. Does this sound like i'm on the right path? If I keep doing this, will a tulpa eventually materialize(well, you konw what i mean)? And i did read the guides again... it sounds like this is what the guides are basically telling me to do. But I'd like to know if my approach is too simplified or not dedicated enough.
mordred June 28, 2012 June 28, 2012 do whatever feels right. as long as you've got the general gist of it, it should be okay. though you should take that with a grain of salt, I've barely started. I just did a heap of research throughout the forums and lurked chat for a while to see how people approached several things. The general consensus is that if what you're doing feels "natural", then it's your right way of doing it. EDIT: Natural may have been the wrong word, but whatever just feels "right" and isn't overly straining. sage
