Guest March 11, 2014 March 11, 2014 Dear Dane/FAQ Man Hello, I am Don Smith. I very recently started to create my first tulpa and I'm using your guide. I am four hours in and have been doing Step 1, Personality. I feel like I'm done and want to move on but your guide says work on Personality for 5-10 hours. I don't think the personality needs any more added to it because I think if I add any more traits it won't fit together anymore. If you would like then I can send you the document I typed up explaining his personality and give feedback on it to help me. I started into Step 2, Visualization because I got frustrated on thinking of more traits that I don't think I need. I tried to use your method, taking a "snapshot" of the space in front of me and "superimposed" the tulpa over the snapshot. But every time I superimpose him the snapshot disappears. Is that bad? Please respond and tell me if you'd like to see the Personality document on my tulpa and also how to fix the problem, if there is one, with the snapshot on Step 2. My email is donnieth65@yahoo.com Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! -Don
ThunderClap March 11, 2014 March 11, 2014 Dane/FAQ man has supposedly left the community and has not been active for quite some time. The best way to get in contact with him is through his e-mail address. His e-mail is tulpa.faq@gmail.com, however keep in mind that he has lately become notorious for not answering e-mails. If he does not reply, I am sure the rest of the forums would be willing to help you. On a slightly unrelated note, this seems more fit for Tulpa Questions & Answers and not tech support, so I will move your thread and leave up a redirect for a week just in case you come back and wonder where your thread is since you are unregistered. I also recommend registering if you want to make more consistant posts. Thank you for your question. The-Syreth-Clan March 12, 2014 March 12, 2014 FAQ_Man left quite a lot while ago, dear Anon, however I suggest NOT taking the guides that strictly. If you decide to register here I guess the community could more than likely lend you a helping hand (or hoof) in case you come back with more questions.
ThunderClap March 16, 2014 March 16, 2014 The thing with tulpa creation (that was not entirely addressed when Dane wrote his guide) is that there is no "set-in-stone" amount of time you should spend on any step. If you feel you have put enough time into something or you feel ready, you should move on. Also, it is not uncommon for you to have difficulty picturing your "snapshot." It is something that definitely requires practice, especially to someone new to meditation or tulpamancy, before they can master it and visualize their tulpa easily. Good luck, and please let us know if you have anymore questions. My guide on tulpa creation Please consider making a private grant to tulpa.info to keep the community alive.
