Day 1- Introductions

Okay. I'm Bitter (TheBitterWind) Female, and I'm almost 15. I've already planned out my tulpa, based on a tulpalike character in the online game Dragonfable.

Here's a picture of what in-game Aegis looks like:

My wonderland is very small- it's a glass platform suspended in the night sky, with black leather couches and a wide-screen TV. Once Aegis gains sentience we'll add some more platforms. Probably a library, too.

Right now he's just the charm that hangs around game Aegis' wrist, and I'm talking to that and forcing into it. Later he'll be able to choose his own form.

The traits I'm giving him are: Shy, Kind, Loyal, and Valiant. I might add a few more later. Anyone have suggestions? I was thinking maybe Studious and Serious.

Definitely compassionate is a good trait. It's like the main one of my tulpa. You want him to sympathize with you when you're down. My tulpa rescues me from feeling depressed quite often. Mostly through an emotional response rather than words.

Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox.

Sentient October 1, 2014.

Yeah, that sounds good. Especially since I have some depression and anxiety issues that I'm hoping Aegis will be able to help me with.

Hey! Welcome to the wonderful community of Tulpa.info! It seems like you've got of to a good start :) Those are all good traits. I agree with FurryBlueNaki that compassionate is a goof trait. Amusing/ Funny is good because then they can make you laugh, but that's up to you. Other than that I would suggest Caring Friendly and Intelligent.

Intelligent is good, though I think it's redundant, as the tulpa will most likely be as intelligent as you are. They'll know what you know.

Yeah, I get depression and anxiety too. On meds for them (Prozac mainly). I'm still struggling though to trust my tulpa. Though his presence makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Today I active forced Aegis for 30 minutes, some of which I spent shoving intrusive thoughts out of the wonderland, and passive forced for probably around 3 hours. Right now he's in his charm shape- still hasn't chosen a form yet. He's floating right next to me as I type this, sort of glowing in the corner of my eye.

Actively forcing, I programmed (or tried to) Compassion, Valor, Kindness, Timidity, Wonder and Faith. I read some snippets of The Neverending Story to him and tested his reactions to a few different stimuli like loud noises. He seems like he sang along to some songs stuck in my head earlier today.

Earlier today, Aegis chose his primary (for now) form, which is only a slight deviation from in-game Aegis' form. The main differences are that he's a little smaller and has mossy green eyes instead of ice blue. I've done a bit of passive forcing today, 20-30 minutes probably, we listened to some music, and I'm currently telling him about the subplots I'm brainstorming for my NaNoWriMo novel.

Songs we listened to: Touch The Sky, (from Brave,) Viva La Vida, and Superheroes

I think he communicated with some head pressures. Later tonight I'll ask him if he can do it again.

(Aegis) +Graves+ [Nhythera] {Wells}

I like your wonderland. That's a really cool idea.

I used to do NaNoWriMo every year. Maybe I should try it again this year.

Good luck! I really like the idea of your wonderland! His form is also beautiful. About the NaNoWriMo, maybe, once he's vocal, you could make one together. It's a good exercise and I'm going to write a story with Peter now.

Aegis has been communicating with a little bit of head pressure recently, which is cool. Yesterday we decorated the wonderland- carved pumpkins, set out candles, that sort of thing. We added a library, too, and now whenever I phase in to see Aegis he's got some kind of book in his hand.

He was reading a book I like the other day- which sort of mentions tulpas, too- one of the books in the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica. I tried to read it, but even though I recognized the font and a few scattered words mostly they were shifting around so I couldn't see them. Aegis seems to be able to read them just fine, though.

It's been really helping to have him to bounce ideas off of for NaNo, even if his communication skills are mostly limited to nodding, hand motions, and making songs come out of the radio in the wonderland. I decided on a voice for him to start with that's pretty different from my mind-voice, and we practiced having him say a few things in that voice. I've also told him to use the "name tag" method and address me by name when he wants to say something.

So, it's been going great!
