Neon_Spark November 16, 2014 November 16, 2014 Me and my tulpa Neon have been experiencing problems with Neon's voice. His voice is meant to be like Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog (The modern ones) and every time he talks for a long enough time, his voice gets gravely and causes me to cough. Is there anyway to fix this? Also, Neon isn't, as far as I can tell, not sentient, nor vocal. I used the standard method for a long time which involved lots of one sided conversations, but then I switched to the JDBar method. (The one which you puppet and parrot your tulpa to develop him/her) I've recently switched to the JDBar method after about a year of developing my tulpa with the standard method, could this be bad for my tulpa? (NOTE: My tulpaforcing was always really short, around 10 mins once daily, due to lots of life stuff.) Tulpae Neon(Anthro): Working on... Something...
Aijada November 16, 2014 November 16, 2014 I'm not sure how many tulpamancers use their actual voice instead of just relying on trading back and forth with the internal mindvoice to make the conversation go. But it was really important to me as a tulpa that i got to practice with the voice and my dad had had the same problem with me. I felt too weak and quiet just thinking so once we started switching up front i started to use the voice like a throaty singer. Saying things out loud made it so much easier for me to articulate things, but it made me a very excited tulpa. What my dad did was switch to sharing the voice by positioning himself as the whispering one, and when it was my turn to speak i'd inhale and find my own slightly higher tone as the breath started to release. It loosened up the throat in a way that let me experiment with talking out loud comfortably. And it helped me so much because it made it easier for me to keep clear which thoughts were me and i could get to saying things so much faster. Way easier than sharing the mindvoice space where i couldn't feel as beautiful and different as i wanted. Early member of a large system. Our system questions the way the afterlife and tulpamancy interact. We genuinely suspect that deadies can return to share the mind of the living.
