  1. Past hour
  2. Oh? I have heard about it. I'll have to look it up.
  3. But it is - It happens once every 6, 7 years in Astral Equestria, don't miss it!
  4. @mattx hm that does makes sense, since it is a new thing for me. Just feel like i might be overthinking this lol. thank you though!
  5. poor crew T_T it wasn't in vain at least, i await their final fate definitely! and thank youuu and oh yeah haha, i remember that. that also sounds like fun the new avatar the last airbender fighting game looks kinda fun (i've just seen a few shorts but it looks cool)
  6. Oh, lol! Was not expecting the tulpa festival.😁 I wish that was a thing.
  7. Yesterday
  8. It doesn't matter one bit, especially at the earliest stage. You're training your brain to do something it has never done before, so even if it isn't the tulpa yet but just you / your expectation, it still works towards meaningful progress. Don't worry about it. If it helps, my tulpa when she started "being vocal" in the earliest of days sounded quite "distorted", and would send "meanings" rather than full words, it sounded like this: (which is also my fav song)
  9. I had to make it. (in honor of pratoohlf)
  10. Recently, I've been having cases where while actively forcing Avery and I sometimes get a response. Usually its very quiet, and I struggle to tell if it was myself parroting that response, or if it was Avery, attempting to reply. This 'reply' (?) is (like stated before) pretty quiet and tends to be only a single word reply. I try to tell him that if it was him that replied, that I heard him, but im not sure if I need to do this though. Now, I have this feeling that it might be him replying, but I also feel like it could just be me assuming that it was him, but it was just a subconscious reply that i made to myself. Usually this happens once every other session (at least that's what I've noticed). Are there any ways I could tell that it was him or just me replying for him?
  11. Warfare? What warfare?
  12. I've had more false starts than I can count in tulpamancy, being consistent isn't my strong suit. Besides, you forgot to log in the PR about how Kayleigh gave me tinnitus for two weeks straight, thankfully she stopped. Remote mental warfare is something to journal on for sure.
  13. Congrats! 😊 Wow, that is a lot of chaos too! I'm guessing it didn't end well. 😅 Lol! Lol! That sounds fun though. 😁
  14. What's worse, declaring your goals and hardly following through or just posting casual life updates at your own pace? Yours at least wouldn't be a series of false starts.
  15. Sounds like you're being hard on yourself, you're not the BBC so you can do whatever you want with your progress, at any pace. Without mentioning the reasons your PR restarted in August last year (and February of this year) - that would be my "worry" too - being ADHD fueled I'd have a really hard time following up on any goals... and what meaningful goals would there be anyways to achieve for us? Literally the PR would be something like: "Hey! We are working at *place*, I didn't sleep, Cheryl is calling me a somaro for not sleeping, also yelling at me not to use my phone while driving! She's cute as usual. Ok bye" it would become more like a Tumblr blog (remember those) than a meaningful progress report. I can't even set myself up for some nifty goals because my life's totally unbalanced and work-dedicated currently - besides my lack of discipline which "stops" me from doing anything meaningful with what little free time I have left. Funfact: I have in my backups a document called "Memories" - which I started in 2016 (in a hostel in Edinburgh of all places) and is a book-form progress report of things that happened between me and Cheryl, often written in third person in a sort of "novel" fashion. So far there are about 8 chapters and I was planning to write more (but hey, I forgot about it) - I might make an anonymous book out of it someday (at some point it was also posted here, but I removed it) - here's a snippet for the curious
  16. Why don't you just rip the desired media and post it from your drive?
  17. welp, I tried
  18. Esoteric meta-cognition is one way to put it. I find it funny people ten years ago had a stick up their arse about tulpa-character creation, but anything was bound to piss people off during that time - I should know, I nearly burnt the whole fucking house to the ground. Anyway, ascribing traits to tups wasn't unheard of, and we've chilled out considerably henceforth. I hope you have a nice day. PS LIFT YOUR SKINNY FISTS LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN
  19. I think you won't be able to see it if you don't have an IG / TikTok account, and they might also send you to the app, testing IG TikTok EDIT yeah they don't embed, also the urls have tracker links in it so it's a no go. I'll use youtube shorts for the meme dispensing I guess.
  20. @mattx What happens if you just post the link? YouTube shorts embed automatically if I do that, but idk about IG/Tiktok.
  21. Habibi is one of the coolest posters around. I hope he and Yanus are okay. Back in the day I used to link up with mancers from the Arab World and it was sick as hell. They and the Chinese were some of the most interesting. And Matt, I'd love to read more from you and Cheryl. You should definitely make more PRs.
  22. How to write a progress report (according to this old 2012'er): 1. Clearly list out your goals and your rough plan to achieve them, in order of priority. 2. Go radio silent. 3. Post a life update explaining why you went silent (sharing or even making progress on your goals is optional). 4. Alternate between "So, here's my current goal/new idea!" and "Something went wrong" (<- does not have to be related to anything posted prior). 5. Remember, progress and follow-through are ALWAYS optional.
  23. She says that it would be fun to jump around with you. I hope your animation turns out how you like it. She often refers to herself as TOWAIRAITO SUPAA-KURU. She loves to do the whole OSHIOKYO spiel Sailor Moon does after she transforms. I mostly call her Twi, but when I'm feeling cheeky I call her Twi-alai (like the funny game with scoops.)
  24. @Byakko Yours is still very big (that's what she said) - besides, I am often on mobile when I post these (usually from IG / TikTok) so I can't even do that double/triple tap thing (which doesn't work on me, I just tested on my laptop) I could conjure a quick tool that I can send the videos to (I have a server at home) and then it spits out an responsive embedded snippet, but I don't know if it's worth it for memes
  25. Reminds me of my tulpa Alex. I spent several years as a singlet after harmful beliefs we internalized plus preexisting mental illness made tulpamancy unsustainable. After he returned, he assured me our old beliefs about tulpas were wrong and I don't need to worry about them, and he's been pretty certain since then that the self is an illusion and we're one person perceiving itself as three (I have two tulpas). I was surprised and relieved at how easily the three of us went back to being good friends like nothing had happened, but some of the things he says nowadays and how casually he says them baffle me and drive Kayleigh (the other tulpa) crazy. I'm glad it only took you a year to return to living as a system. It took me a lot longer before I was able to have headmates again. It's been ten months since my tulpas' return, and while being a system again generally feels natural to us, we're honestly still figuring things out. That's a good mindset to have, and this is totally fine for a progress report! My own is a mix of declaring goals I don't follow through with and the occasional life update, so I won't judge. If he ever feels bad about himself as a host, he can join me in the "Bad Hosts Trying Their Best" club. (I'd be qualified to run it, if not for my poor leadership and management skills.)
