How do Tulpas perceive their environment before imposition?

I got told by Pronto, that she saw everything from her own body.

 

She could even see Alyx sleeping on a chair, only I wasn't able to see them.

 

Does anyone know if this is the normal case, or if it's different for everyone?

I can't say anything out of my experience for now, but I'd suppose it is wired in how you imagine your tulpa works.

If you are convinced, that your tulpa has a body imposed into the real world, then I can really see it already perceiving itself this way, even though you did not superimpose the tulpa yet. It is doubtable, that this whole makeup would change again, when this is how you imagined it to be, after all.

 

This is actually pretty interesting, because it seems to show, that the tulpa and the actual hallucination are definetely two different things in your brain, which makes sense.
