canino1997 October 22, 2015 Author October 22, 2015 Ok guys my minds eye isnt blind. The stuff i percive is unbelivably undetailed with almost no color and i can only percive for a short time and its transparent and blurry. its like a memory, a shade in the dark.
Luminesce October 22, 2015 October 22, 2015 Yeah, I know the feel. After all this time I still only get a general idea of how my tulpas look. If I don't think about it the image seems fine, but if I try to focus on them I can't see any real details. Luckily, this mental muscle can be exercised like any other, and if you actually practice it'll get stronger with time. Also luckily, if you're too unmotivated to do so like me, visualization's not absolutely essential to make a tulpa. But it sure is nice. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. canino1997 October 22, 2015 Author October 22, 2015 As i child i was better at visualizing before i was going to sleep i would replay an entire episode of spongebob squarepants in my head. Now it seems i lost that ability. Are there any drugs that can help me visualize but that are not as extreme as LSD?
Luminesce October 23, 2015 October 23, 2015 Yeah, same for a lot of peoples' dream recall. They remembered dreams as a kid, but stopped caring and over the years lost the ability to remember them at all. Same for visualization for most people that aren't artists of some kind. You can get it back if you work on it consistently. No idea about drugs. There are tons of visualization guides on the forum though, and a lot involve what I do - looking at pictures and trying to recall them afterward. I've collected quite a few pictures of my tulpas (from the Touhou fandom) over the years, because they help me visualize my tulpas indirectly. During the worst times where I can't visualize crap at all, I literally visualize pictures of my tulpas that look very similar to them. The pictures are so ingrained in my head I can always remember them, and they help me transition to my actual tulpas' forms. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.
