Fenrir July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 I have looked and apologies if I have missed this if it has been posted before but I would rather ask and get shouted at than not ask and never know. I have been very organised when it comes to the personality trait bits and so have all the traits and what i want to define each one as im creating the personality. However I would not be able to memorise all the factors that I would want to include when defining a trait. Is it plausible to have your eyes open or would that not envoke the right frame of mind to create a personality. I fear that if I have my eyes open for it and so keep referring to what I have written it would be simular to reading a book and so would end up going nowhere. What are your thoughts and suggestions?
Guest applesauce99 July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 Well, my personality for Autumn is 5 traits, and was 4-7 for Miku. They were easier to memorize because of their number, but more larger groups I'm sure taking a peek at a list or even narrating them to your tulpa is great.
Sands July 17, 2012 July 17, 2012 At one point I did have a list which I peeked at now and then. If you can read the whole thing to them then I guess it would be pretty good narration and practice about concentrating on them while doing something else. Hard to say how you force, but I concentrated more on the personality traits than my tulpa while doing personality and I probably couldn't do so if I read everything off of a list. But then again, I did read him a book but that was later on and not personality forcing and it went alright... Perhaps having a cheat sheet which you do take a look at now and then if you forget or feel like your train of thought is starting to go somewhere else, trying to focus on the traits in whatever way you want to? I suppose you wouldn't even have to close your eyes if you think that's better for you and you don't get distracted. You gotta try to find what works the best for you, you can't fuck things up, but you gotta find what you think is effective or otherwise you will end up going nowhere. It's all about your mind, man.
