So as my total forcing time grows, my progress still stuck on the bottom, I keep reading different guides, articles, blogs and whatsoever and... It all just confuses me more and more because lots of them simply contradict eachother. Visualization is good, visualization is bad, imposition is good, imposition is bad, wonderland helps, wonderland pointless, parroting, puppeting, what comes first etc etc etc... Probably only thing everyone agrees on is narration is very important.

It wouldn't actually bother me all that much if I could get some basic results and judge from my own perspective, but... nope, I'm about over 30 hours (yeah, i know, thats not that much, but its a fairly solid amount of time) and I'm not even sure about anything at all. The thought about me doing something wrong preventing my tulpa from any actions haunts me every couple of days.

So my enthusiasm is unsurprisingly low.

And on the side note, why is there 3 hours per day limit?

All the guides and shit are opinions, or personal experience.

Okay, this part will be easy to understand if your an obese person. Think of it like Subway. You can order off the menu with out customization, or you make your own sandwich (creation method) and lather it in bacon, cheese, 3 kinds of meat, or whatever you gross obese people enjoy.

Romm, there are in fact many things which are contradicting. The guides, however, are only marginally helping. I will try to give you an overview about the most polarizing things.

Wonderland - Yes or No?

Wonderlands are there so you can do stuff with your tulpa. People usually find it useful because the tulpa can do comething else apart from being left alone in blank space. Others argue that it's taking too much mental capacity. Both methods seem to work.

Parroting/Puppeting - Yes or No?

It is generally frowned upon to parrot or puppet your tulpa. It is said that it stifles sentience and shouldn't be used at all. There are some people on this forum who are experimenting with a new approach. That means, they puppet their Tulpa and think it will reach sentience that way.

If you want to stay on the conventional way you don't parrot your Tulpa. We do not know which method is faster, but not parroting your Tulpa will get you the desired result to 100%.

Personality - Yes or No?

This completely depends on your likes. Do you want to (partly) predetermine your Tulpa's personality or not? Both approaches work.

BlueSleeve summed it up nicely there, kudos for him.

But there is also another thing people generally agree upon, which is having faith. The greatest obstacle in your way to make a tulpa is not bad visualization, lack of tulpaforcing or technique or the like, but your own doubts. Having 100% (blind)faith in your success is crucial, otherwise your progress will just slow you down. Even if no results seem to have come yet, think positively and believe in yourself. Then you'll have a tulpa in no time.

No. It is universally recognized that visualization is very important. If you want a 100% complete tulpa then you need to impose. These things are clean-cut and straightforward as far as opinions go.

I suggest you read the Slowpokes thread for encouragement. From your statement you obviously know 'these things, they take time' but it takes a little getting used to. I'm at 50 hours and absolutely nothing has occurred yet.

As far as being worried goes, know this: in the long run it won't matter. It may be that you prevent movement, or speech, or other actions--but in the long run they will occur and you will notice them. It may take more time, but it will happen. Continue to be patient.

And on the side note, why is there 3 hours per day limit?

If you read FAQ_Man's guide he says it's because more than three hours or so just makes for mental exhaustion. It's a general guideline that most people follow. Some people do 4 to 6 hours a day. Whatever floats your boat.

Know that everything you read except Dane's and Irish's guides (and some stuff in them) is an opinion or strictly personal experience and should be treated as such. If something someone suggests or says makes no sense, or doesn't seem like it would work, then don't do or believe it. Simple as that.

The Buddha said to put no mind above your own. It's a good principle--but that's just my opinion.

Yeah well I'm aware that its basically all subjective, but I can hardly judge without any good source on my own. I try to believe in my tulpa without thinking much about her nature (for an obvious reason, since I'm mostly logic person, and i prefer to think of her as of self-sufficient person loosely based on my viewpoint, rather than blatant part of myself), but I'm not that zealous about her, and I think that may be a problem too: I'm hardly zealous at all in my life. Actually all I really wanted is a surefire foolproof way to get a response and believe in my ways, but... yeah, theres actually none.

Whats important..

Dont doubt yourself, Romm. It's important you remain absolute during the process and believe. Acknowledging her existance helps. If you can't find time to concentrate, just imagine her behind you. Not walking, just sorta teleporting whenever you turn. Just work with what makes you comfortable. I started with the form before personality. I know it's a no-no, but the thing here at the forums is do what makes you comfortable.

Are you implying that Dane's and Irish's guides are not personal experiences and shouldn't be treated as such? Just because their guides were the first to be made, does it not make them any less opinionated than the other guides. The difference is simply that a lot more people have tried Dane's guide than the user made guides,

That was for you, Fede. For you.

And while it's true that more people have tried Dane's guide because it's been around longer, it's general method has also been the one to yield the most success. That is why I regard it so highly.
