Pronas July 22, 2012 July 22, 2012 I tried forcing today, after having like 3 or 4 hypnosis sessions with Biotech, and them being awesome and vivid, but this time when i went to force on my own, i couldn't focus AT ALL. And then some people suggested that maybe my mind just needs to rest, so I started to think about it and....what if it's true? What if tulpaforcing and focusing and all that put some sort of strain on your mind or imagination and that sometimes it just needs to rest and let some steam off? Well, now i will try to have some "tulpaforcing" sessions where i will just let my mind wander and do whatever it wants, and then try to force for real. Maybe it works? Maybe it doesnt? Wanna know what you guys think of this.
Sorryman54 July 22, 2012 July 22, 2012 And the magic 8 ball says... NO. Okay, time to get to srs bidnuss. You are just used to being hypnotized. No biggy. Just try to force without it and keep pushing, and it should return sometime.
TulpaCouple July 22, 2012 July 22, 2012 I think there may be times when the mind needs a rest. Your tulpaforcing idea sounds more like straight up dreaming or maybe daydreaming. Maybe just having simple daydreaming/visualization strengthening sessions would in fact be pretty useful. No need to worry about when you can't control random thoughts, but in the meanwhile you are still practicing visualizing everything clearly.
Sorryman54 July 22, 2012 July 22, 2012 that's some real constructive posting right there. I think there may be times when the mind needs a rest. I've been forcing the old-school way since the beginning. Honestly, I have yet to try hypnosis. So if anyone would be nice enough to drop a link? Thanks. Sadly, i have an over active mind. Sometimes it gets in the way of forcing, but I've been getting more focused when I force though.
Guest Albatross_ July 22, 2012 July 22, 2012 Same thing happens to me once or twice a month, Pronas. I just skip the session that day and pick it up the next day. Dane took weekends off for a reason.
