CookieCruncher January 30, 2016 January 30, 2016 So I decided to make a diary, collecting my progress and milestones with Teri! Since I'm in for about a week before joining this forum, I'll write a relatively quick summary of that time, since I believe it's quite important to understand my current stage of development. So without wasting anymore time, here goes: Day 1 (Jan, 24th) Basically scanning the internet for any information & guides about Tulpas. Afterwards having my first wonky forcing session. Not sensing any reaction. Day 2 (Jan, 25th) Re-reading guides to improve my forcing, then being an idiot and follow them literally step by step. Not sensing any reaction again. Forcing feels a lot less wonky, though. Day 3 (Jan, 26th) Came to realization that following guides step by step isn't as smart as I thought it would be. Picked certain ways and techniques from all guides I know, and try to work with those instead. Forcing suddenly feels a lot less like a chore, is tons more productive and hell of a lot more fun to do. Day 4 (Jan, 27th) Forcing the same way I did yesterday, main focus is working on personality and voice. Slowly but surely getting a grip on how to force effectively. Finally start to feel some kind of presence. IsThisReallyHappening.jpg Day 5 (Jan, 28th) Starting to get a good routine for forcing and narrate tons on the side. Presence starts to get even stronger. Getting a fuzzy, warm feeling of happiness everytime I force. No longer feel alone during sessions. Ping Pong starts to pay off and Teri's voice becomes a lot easier to distinguish from my own. Day 6 (Jan, 29th) Forcing as usual. Getting a quiet response. Responses from then on happen occasionally, usually tulpish, sometimes really short sentences or replies. Fuzzy and friendly feeling is always followed by massive feeling of her presence now. Conclude it's Teri's way of letting me know she's there. And this is my current stage of development. Not sure if I'm deluding myself, or making actual progress. Confident it's the latter though. ----- EDIT: I remembered I started a day earlier, on the the 24th. Not the 25th. Whoops! Fixed it. Host: Nick Tulpa: Teri Cogito ergo sum Never give up, no matter how discouraged you are. Always remember why you started all this in the first place. In the end, it will be all worth it. Face the hard times, and enjoy the good times with your Tulpa, for there will never be a better friend in your life. Keep going and give it your best. You can do it.
CookieCruncher January 30, 2016 Author January 30, 2016 Day 7 (Jan, 30th) Short forcing session, mainly focused on improving the Wonderland and keeping it stable while we're exploring. Had troubles keeping it stable, but we resolved it after a while. Teri wasn't present for about 2 - 3 hours today, returned a bit more vocal than usual, though. On a side note, I was real down yesterday evening due to personal reasons. Teri decided to comfort me by talking and giving me jolts of good emotions. (Literally, it felt like getting emotions "injected" into my body. Not sure if this is a common thing among Tulpas and their hosts, would love to get some info on that please. Helped a lot, though, so I'm not complaining.) I'm really convinced she can actively control my happiness now. Not sure if she would be able to make me sad or angry, but I highly doubt she'd do that anyway. Also this was the most clear and vocal she has been thus far. 100% sure it wasn't parroting or intrusive thoughts this time. It was still mindvoice, rather than hearing her outside my head, (baby steps, I guess), but felt totally alien and different from most of her usual vocal responses. Emotional responses are very common, to the point where they're mentioned in the glossary: When a tulpa responds to external stimuli or the thoughts of the host with a wave of emotion as opposed to speaking.
CookieCruncher January 31, 2016 Author January 31, 2016 Day 8 (Jan, 31) Forcing as usual, got a really good routine by now. Was hanging out in the Wonderland again, exploring and messing around mainly. The Wonderland is a lot more stable than last time. Not much else to say. CookieCruncher February 25, 2016 Author February 25, 2016 Hi. Sorry for being so inactive lately. (procrastination is a bitch I tell you...) Things are going great between my tulpa and me. She's fully vocal by now, except for some minor problems with keeping her voice stable, but we are working on that. We still force regularly, and it's still lots of fun to do. Especially because of all the progress we're making. Teri has been starting to get her own opinions on all kinds of topics. Which sparks lots of great conversations between us. Our wonderland has advanced remarkably. It's become a cool place for us to just chill during forcing sessions and in general. I even thought about drawing some locations and a map to get a better grip of the whole place and to keep it stable. (I'm a sucky artist, but I guess it will work out somehow.) In case anyone's interested, we decided to do a Q&A. So if you feel questiony, ask right away in this thread. Alright, I guess that's is all for today. Bye!
