Basically I want to know how influential is a tulpamancers personality to their tulpa. Like say I'm very aggressive and stubborn. Will that make my tulpa aggressive and stubborn? Stuff like that.

Your personality is influential, yeah, but it is far more complicated than "If I am X, then they are also X."

Tulpae seem to have a tendency to "become what you need." To grow in a direction that offers alternate perspectives and support your weaker traits. For example; my host struggles with anxiety issues, and so I've developed skills and personality that help reassure her and boost her self-confidence.

Or maybe they'll go off in a completely different, unrelated direction. Or maybe they will take their personality cues from you. Basically, it's all about what you put into them. If you don't want them to take a particular trait from you, consider forcing their personality a bit to give them a different direction to go, just in case.

It is influential to some extent. Say you act toxic and aggressive towards other people; tulpas tend to side with their hosts more than often since they supposedly understand why you do the things you do. As such, an evil person does not believe that what they do is evil, their actions are justified and valid to them, the contrarian part of one's self would provide thoughts that negate this type of immorality, but that's outside of my point. What you do, as long as it is justified, will be something your tulpa understands. The formation of traits, personality and character do not rely on your own; if we consider tulpas to be separate entities that have the capacity to think and feel things on their own, then logically speaking, they won't be just like their host.

People set trait lists in order to avoid that sort of things; often, this trait-listing provides the desired product, but that is more issued out of fear and paranoia than anything, or simple desire to have someone being 'some way' around. Tulpas can gain traits through either, well, being born with them and having them developed over time... or the way that I personally prefer, is to let the tulpa's traits and character be formed by the reality that surrounds them, the reality they are limited to. Example; I treat my tulpa like the most special cutest little thing there is out there, even though I can be an asshole to some people, this does not affect the way she is, it affects her on the level of pity for the people who are wronged (because yes we do disagree on stuff at times and she wins all of the time with her reasoning), but the way she currently is, the sensitive and spoiled little princess she is, she is this way because I treated her as such.

If you are aggressive with your tulpa and if you act like an undesirable person, your tulpa could build a negative opinion of you. They could very much start to think that you are a bad person.

I don't think that personality forcing produces anything, anything at all aside from bringing to the host what THEY want and not how the tulpa is supposed to function. In the case that a tulpa is an independent entity on the level of emotions and thoughts (emphasis on emotions here) logically they should not be affected by how the host wants them to be, but that's another discussion. Treat them as you would like for them to treat you.

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?
