River-Fox June 11, 2016 June 11, 2016 Ok, so yesterday I actually started to see stuff during visual imposition practice (yay). They were just random faces (did not resemble my tulpa) and seemed cartoon-ish, also they were 2-d not 3-d. I assume they did not resemble my tulpa and seemed cartoon-ish in style because this is only the second day of seeing major progress like this and that I'm not going to see super complex figures on the first day & they will get better over time. Would love to hear any similar experiences and any other thoughts and tips of how to improve this. Thanks c:

Thanks c: Although I am an aphantasiac (non-visual), I can think of very, very vague positioning and scenarios. I recently tinkered with trying to imagine a scene in motion vs. just stills, and it was a very weird sensation. But it worked to the point that I could tell my brain was doing something significantly different than my usual tactile + spatial + verbal thinking. mysonofrageandlove June 12, 2016 June 12, 2016 I've been working on visual imposition with Jamie for a good while now and we're still at a stage where all I get is a shadowy outline/imprint of his body wherever he's trying to be. It's slowly but surely improving, but still at a shadowy stage for us right now. I think the best way to improve is just to keep practicing daily. That's what's been moving us forward. Unfathomable. You know, without fathom.
