KingKeeper July 18, 2016 July 18, 2016 Synchronicity is a really interesting concept to me. Parallels, and that. My tulpa's name is King, and he's a very large black fly. The other day I was sitting in a cafe, and a fly landed on my table. It was very slow, and didn't respond to my touch. I was able to brush it back and forth. It returned to my table several times. My friend saw it as well. Have you ever had something similar happen? Some parallel between your tulpa and reality that seemed like a coincidence, but could be assigned some sort of significance? I'm interested to know.
Guest Anonymous July 18, 2016 July 18, 2016 Hundreds of times. I think it is that our mind makes associations and connections. But there have been so many coincidences like that with Melian I can't even tell you all of them. Some of it has been hair raising, like Melian is almost a spirit or something rather than an imaginary being.
glitchthe3rd July 18, 2016 July 18, 2016 Usually, no, but here's an interesting one I've never posted about before: Luna and I have a daughter (Elise), the circumstances of her creation are more of an exception than the rule in the tulpa community since she was born from one of my other tulpas instead of being forced from nothing. Now, Luna's last name is Moonflower, which I picked out for her around the time My Little Pony got rebooted to differentiate her from the influx of Luna tulpas based on the show. So when Elise was conceived, we naturally decided to make her last name Moonflower as well. My room in my parents' house is in the basement, in a back corner, so it has windows on the backyard and the east side of the house, so you can see the moon and sun rising through the windows. There used to be some tall bushes on that side of the house that kept the sun out in the morning, but we removed those. And on the night that Elise was conceived, the full moon was shining in through the basement window. That alone isn't much of a coincidence, since I had been tracking the phases of the moon around that time, but where it gets really interesting is that, a few months after that, we started having moonflowers come up on the side of the house where the bushes used to be. I guess the bushes had been choking out the moonflowers so they never grew, but starting that summer they grew in nice and thick to replace the bushes. When my dad and stepmom finally croak I'm getting the house from their will, and if nothing else I plan to take a cutting from those moonflowers and bring it back to wherever I've settled down by then. Lucilyn July 18, 2016 July 18, 2016 That is really cool. I like all the moon stuff. I don't know if anything like this ever happened to us, probably years ago. Synchronicities happen when you're thinking about something a lot and something relevant happens and you notice it. And it always seems unbelievably unlikely, but that's because anything could've happened. It's selection bias, so much stuff could be happening that isn't but when something finally does you think about it from knowing it already happened and that's why it seems so unlikely. Anyways, I bet Lumi had a lot of those 4-7 years ago when he was always thinking about the other three, but I'd have to ask them. Nothin' like that happened for me. Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Talk to us? https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
NeoShammy August 16, 2016 August 16, 2016 As I mentioned in another post, I am actually reading a book called Synchronicity. It talks about SE's (synchronistic events). My last name is King, your handle is king keeper and you're interested in synchronicity as I am now. The book talks about the more you are aware of them, the more they happen, and the more you can use them to you advantage. The author is a psychologist that is very familiar with the realm of thought forms. If you're a book reader, pick it up. Its shown me some interesting thought models.
