MisterTelecaster July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 I personally think that I'll be fine with the one that I've got, but say somehow I want another. Completely hypothetically, don't need a good reason, let's just say for the sake of science that I want to create another tulpa and leave it at that. Would my current tulpa be able to help me create the second one? What could she do to help? Woul the extent of it be as simple as helping me clear my mind to concentrate, or could she go as far as to force right along with me? Or will it all have to come from me since they're all ultimately inside of my head? Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
hakase July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Ultimately you're the one who will be deciding on whether or not you will be creating a new tulpa, so in the end it all comes down to you, yes. Although I'm sure that your first tulpa could help you relax and concentrate while forcing the second one. If you want to test the helpfulness of a tulpa helping you to tulpaforce, maybe you could try a few sessions on your own and a few sessions with your tulpa helping you? Because it does seem like having your subconscious actively helping you to create a second tulpa would help, although I haven't heard of anybody trying it. MisterTelecaster July 29, 2012 Author July 29, 2012 I really don't want a second tulpa. I'm not entirely done with the first one, so I can't even do any testing like you suggested, but I can say with near certainty that I won't want another even when the one I'm working on right now finally decides to stop running around silently and start being vocal. That's not what this is about. I'm just curious as to what a tulpa can do to help their creator make a second tulpa. Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
ThatOneGuy July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Yes, other tulpae can help create others. Clair and I split up the process of making Markus and Li pretty evenly, in fact, and it was not difficult at all for her to do so. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
MisterTelecaster July 29, 2012 Author July 29, 2012 Thanks TOG It's interesting that you would comment, seeing all of the tulpae that you have is what got me wondering about this in the first place, and what got me asking Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
ThatOneGuy July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Ah, I see. Yes, Clair was instrumental in bringing Markus and Li about as soon as they did. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
MisterTelecaster July 29, 2012 Author July 29, 2012 Interesting So Clair was pretty much able to do everything that you did to create her, but for the others? She didn't just help a bit, she actually was an integral part of the process and made a major contribution to the effort of creating new tulpae? I figured it was possible, but I wanted to hear it first hand for confirmation The things a tulpa can do amaze me on a regular basis. And this is completely off-topic, but what are your tulpae's (Oh god, how does that plural possessive even work?) thoughts on MSPA/Homestuck Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
ThatOneGuy July 29, 2012 July 29, 2012 Clair helped out loads with getting visuals done, as well as helping out with subconscious access. She just couldn't seem to help with the personality...and yes, she made major contributions to the process. Markus: Homestuck is a winding tale with likable characters that go through a variety of both world and universe shattering antics in a quest against a few dominating antagonists, and while at this point it's getting rather drawn out, it's been a good read up so far and I enjoy it greatly. Clair also enjoys it, dunno about Li. Don't have a direct opinion from Clair at the moment because she's asleep, but yeah. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
