Shalaska September 3, 2016 September 3, 2016 Hey everyone ! Here's a small question for you guys, when you created your tulpa, did you use a reference like a drawing / something else, you didn't need one ? Because i'm trying to create my tulpa but i have trouble visualizing her, i can only see the front of her body, not the back and everything else, only the front. Is it normal ? ( Sorry if i'm not clear >w< )
tulpa001 September 4, 2016 September 4, 2016 Pretty sure that's normal. As someone else who will respond after me is sure to say, there are vast differences between people's visualisation abilities. Visualisation was not a problem for my host, because she can build and walk around complex 3D models without problem. There are multiple visualisation guides on this site, one of them is certain to work with your style of visualisation. There is a video game one that talks about how you can leverage the skills your brain uses to be good at video games to visualise in 3D. Reference images are extremely helpful, if you can find them. Artists must go through a similar process of visualising their subjects in order to draw them properly. No matter how good the artist is, a quality reference image is useful, until they become extremely familiar with their subject. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
glint4 September 4, 2016 September 4, 2016 I think you just need practice. Try to visualize your tulpa standing in one place and you move around her. For a reference, instead of static picture, find a video where it depicts a character from 360 degrees perspective. Better yet, play a video game where you can create a character in 3d(or it has a character that looks like your tulpa).
