Well, when I was little and didn't understand the basics of tulpamancy, I just created a mindscape that centered around the theme of 'Ok, here's what the inside of the brain looks like and functions, and here are the people who run it.' We've never really changed it since, but as more and more tulpas/soulbonds came along, and as I learned about tulpas and took them more seriously, I realized we needed a more interesting headspace, since everyone seemed bored 24/7. So instead of trying to liven up the current headspace, I started fresh and created a new headspace that couldn't be accessed from the current one(the new wonderland was an island in the middle of nowhere, while the old one existed in the brain, so I don't really know how they would be able to connect somehow). The only flaw is that I don't get to see everyone in the new wonderland as often as I'd like to, due to basically being disconnected from them; like I said, though, every night Hugh goes there while I sleep to fill them in on things, and also enjoys himself there, since he insists on staying with me throughout the day :/

It's not that I have attachment issues, it's just that it's been this way for as long as I can remember, and Hugh would just rather keep things the same; he knows that I enjoy his company, and he wants to be there to witness anything important or interesting that might happen. That might change in the future, though, I don't know honestly; only time will tell.

That sounds pretty neat, actually - with some downsides, yeah, but Hugh being willing to update the others on what's going on seems to mitigate that to some extent.

That whole "inside of the brain" concept is cool, too - I've always been rather fond of that kind of thing.

Hello again! Finally, here's the big expedition everyone's been waiting to hear! ...Or, um, the one I've been waiting to write... yeah, that's more accurate. Anyway, on with the post:

I remember this forcing session lasting around two hours. Despite this, I didn't get that mentally exhausted, since I was too focused and really immersed in what was happening.

After I spawned, I went inside the first lodge to see everyone with a hiking backpack and getting their gear ready. I went up to my room and changed my attire for the occasion: a blue and white plaid sun hat, t-shirt, jeans and a violet-blue jacket that I tied around my waist, all being replicated from clothes I have in the physical world. I also grabbed a walking stick as I joined the others downstairs.

We headed outside as the others from the second lodge joined us, and we started up the hill... well, more like mountain. Dante asked me why I didn't have a backpack or gear, and I reasoned, "Um, because... I can just... visualize anything I need?" He pointed out that 'that wasn't the spirit' (which reminded me of that one camping episode of Spongebob... maybe I should just get a life instead of watching Spongebob, idk :P), and we continued up the mountain that was a lot bigger than I remembered. Once we got to the top, though... it was all worth it.

The view was incredible. Instead of the mountain we just climbed resembling any other normal mountain, it instead dropped straight down about 500 feet. Stretching across the rest of the island (which is actually pretty small) was an extensive jungle clustered with trees. And one of those trees... was huge. It was still a jungle tree, but was about 100-200 feet taller, and 20 feet bigger around than the others. Dara got our attention (she took the role as a tour guide through the whole thing; she, along with Zelda, Dante and Hugh had already been where we were about to go) and pointed out the zip line that stretched from the top of the cliff to the inside of the massive tree. Everyone started to get nervous, so she also pointed out the elevator that dropped to the bottom. One person that showed her anxiousness was Candice, until Lucas took notice. To show it was safe (and way better than taking the elevator), he strapped himself in and flew off, reaching the tree in about 12 seconds. She followed him right after, and almost everyone else went until it was my turn. I could begin to feel butterflies in my stomach; after I was all strapped in, Dara counted down, and I lifted my feet.

It was insane how realistic the adrenaline was, and how real the sensation of flying through the air was. It didn't last for long, though, as I soon reached the tree, and a couple of them helped slow my momentum (I still wonder how Lucas didn't slam into the tree). Dara came last, and once she reached the tree, she proceeded to open a door in the trunk that blended in with the rest of the tree. We all looked down to see hundreds of feet of... a ladder. After spending millions of years climbing down the ladder (ONE AT A TIME), we met up at the bottom of the jungle floor and began to walk. After walking for a few good minutes without resting (remember, the island is small), we stopped at a tree that didn't look particularly special. But once Dara pulled a lever disguised as a tree branch, the ground began to lower into a ramp, before forming into stairs. Inside was pitch black. Dara handed each of us a flashlight before we headed down.

The inside of the cave system was monstrous in size. Sunlight streamed down through holes in the roof of the caverns as we tried to take it all in. We were standing on a narrow pathway against the wall; straight below us was complete blackness. Nothing was separating us from the unfathomable abyss that was only inches below our feet. I took out my flashlight and shone it down; the darkness swallowed the light whole. On the other side, the sunlight revealed the grotesque jaws and teeth that the walls of the cavern formed. We walked along the path stretching against the wall until we came to a tunnel.

The tunnel was narrow and damp. I could feel the water trickling on the rocks as we passed through. On the other side, my eyes were met with dozens of bright colors that belonged to many glistening gems and crystals. There was a huge crystal sprouting from the ground in the center, shining mixes of blue and green. We paused to look for only a moment until we entered the next room.

  • 1 month later...

Heh, it's been a few months. Honestly, I'm not surprised; I've got to stop promising to "get it done soon!" until I actually learn time management.

So, here's another update, along with a question at the end:

I've not actually seen my 'recent' tulpa I introduced in my last update in a while. I don't think they left, or at least, I'm not jumping to that conclusion. Sometime in the future (hopefully soon), I'm going to look for them in the wonderland, as I have a feeling they're tucked away somewhere on the island. Once I find them, if I do, I'll see if they want to become a part of, or even all of, my future self, something that relates to a technique Ford suggested doing in one of his videos.

A while back, Hugh changed his form to a reddish-brown eastern screech owl, and stands at just a few inches above me.

We were brainstorming what new form he wanted to have, as he had always been unhappy with his old form, but he never knew what to change to, or when. So I asked my mom, and she's the one who suggested an owl.

Since getting his new form, we've also started imposing, anywhere from the Smoky Mountains to grocery stores. We love going on hikes through the mountains, and sometimes he'll fly through the trees on the way. We usually end up at waterfalls, and he gets to cool off in the cold, fresh mountain water.

I can tell he's happy with his form, which makes me happy ^^

Also, Hugh and I have made progress with possession. So far, he can possess both arms, and we're thinking about playing video games and comparing our scores, which I'll post here when we do :P

As an end note:

Sleeping in hammocks outside the wonderland lodge at night is extremely relaxing and de-stressing, almost as much as the leather chairs around the fire inside is... if only I could stop imagining the hammocks flailing around everywhere and dumping me onto the ground. *sigh*

So, here's the question I have for you all:

Would you rather for me to keep posting long and detailed accounts of the events and adventures we have, or for me to summarize them and move on? I would probably make more updates more often if it was the latter, but I'll leave that up to you all.

Well if you feel to post everything with details then that's not a problem. I'm predicted the more you talk about that the closer you can be with Tulp. No idea how it is later when you got one but it's like telling your own story .

If you have time it's good to write everything when you want to read it later .

Well then it's only up to you as long as you do it for yourself.
