shatteredpsyche August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 I pose a question for those of you whose Tulpae are fully imposed or at the very least sentient. Does your Tulpa ever engage you without being prompted to do so or without you thinking about them? An example would be them starting a conversation on their own about something you hadn't been thinking about. I'm sorry if this has been asked before I'm just curious
Captain Nemo August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Well, think about it. Tulpae can think on their own. They can talk on their own. They control themselves. Given that, do you see any way a tulpa wouldn't be able to start a conversation on their own?

Guest Anonymous August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Your title and question do not match. Regardless, the answer to both questions is yes. A tulpa is as likely to be shy as any normal human being. Intentional or not. And in answer to your question, any question or interaction from your tulpa was technically thought up by you, but not consciously. A tulpa can engage in questions or conversations on topics you aren't actively thinking about.
shatteredpsyche August 3, 2012 Author August 3, 2012 I could not think of a more appropriate title, forgive me. For me, this type of behavior would confirm sentience. A simple "Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we..." would be nice.
Guest Anonymous August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Yes, the can be shy if you want them to be. The idea of tulpas is them being able to communicate with you, this involves starting conversations.
mouse_ August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 any question or interaction from your tulpa was technically thought up by you, but not consciously. Up for debate. You come from your subconscious, not the other way around. Neither you nor your tulpa owns the subconscious. The common master. A small distinction, but it's important when talking about how 'real' they are.
