trying to get myself back into the swing of things around here, figured maybe someone might wanna talk to a 4y practicing tulpamancer, aside from the awesome admin i mean.

i'm a spiritualist, so my perspective is gonna come more from a metaphysical perspective rather than psychological. but i'm also a science nerd, so expect some psychology too actually.

i have two tulpa, Kovie and Vyx, the former of which is about 6 or 8 months older than the latter. Kovie is my first tulpa which i created from just a formless voice, who grew into her current form. Vyx is a walk-in who's form was based upon an old OC of mine.

Kovie will introduce herself now:

Hello! You know my name friends! I use she pronouns, i'm an alien, but i look different from most. I have four arms, three eyes, and long antennae. I love music, dance, drawing, science and language. I'm pretty good at possession, doing good with imposition, we're practicing with dual processing a little bit. Talk to me about anything! I love learning anything new~

Vyx will now introduce themself:

hey guys, waddup! i kinda went through some more remodeling so i'm like a little less edgy, more just fun and cool i guess, so heyy nice character development! right so, pronouns are just whatever dude, i can be feminine or masculine or whatever basically whenever. my gender actually changes with the situation i'm in, but i don't give a damn what you call me. i like being active, so i like doing stuff outdoors. parkour, climbing, sports, dancing is cool too. i think i could learn spanish so i can make new non-english friends. talk to me about whatever! i just like making new amigos.

then there's also Leo who i'm not sure was even actually a tulpa, he left to go do greater things, but i still see him occasionally. Ori is also still around, tho as like a semi-sentient pet for Kovie and Vyx, so they're the ones that take care of them for the most part.

i've practiced a lot with possession, it's honestly easier than imposition for me, so far as keeping it up goes anyway. but imposition is fun, been trying to do it more. i don't spend much time in my wonderland, K and V just have free reign there. i can always hear them when i pay attention to them, they almost always respond, but they don't say much when i'm busy. sometimes they do though and it makes me laugh.

anyway, any questions at all for someone on the spiritual side who's had a lot of practice with this stuff, or my tulpa as they have been over the past few years, post away!!

Heeeeey, welcome back! We honestly thought you guys were just gone like so many other familiar faces, it's nice to see you return even if it's temporary/not often

I don't really have any questions, but if you want one, what've you guys done in the last couple years since you left?

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

How have you been going about imposition? Not much of what we've tried for it falls under the category of "fun", so you're way ahead of us there.

I'm not having fun here anymore, so we've decided to take a bit of a break, starting February 27, 2020. - Ember

whaaat, omg you remember me! that makes me so happy XD nah i don't think i'd ever really forget about this place, it's where i started my first adventure into spiritual stuff, tho i didn't know it at the time. i did tho forget what my icon was here, and i burst out laughing when i saw it lmao.

yashua ben hurr almighty how long has it been since i left??? what was i even doing then... i've went through an abusive bf, tried getting into the army, got heavy into spiritualism stuff, got a job at the literal hottest place in north america... huge portion of that time my poor tulpa spent being inactive, but things often reminded me of them, and they'd make commentary on stuff now and then. occasionally i would let them front so they could experience something i thought they'd like more than me, which went well despite how inactive they've been.

they've really gained a strong stability of their own over the years, they no longer get too tired or sick when i don't pay attention to them, and they can just reform apparently easily whenever they want. it seems as though, and they've confirmed such, that when i go through long periods of inactivity with them, they kinda go into a hibernation state. formless, very low energy, they keep a mind's eye on what i'm doing but they don't always pay attention.

one thing that i'm proud of is that my practice with possession with them has actually made my spiritual ability with meditation and channeling much easier. doing possession with a spirit is different than with a tulpa, but bc of them, i know how to handle it and let the spirit do as they need. astral projection and energy work are also easier cuz my time spent in the wonderland a long time ago is what gave me the innate understanding that the universe is malleable, quite willing to do as you wish if you understand how it works.

well i normally argue that i'm behind on imposition bc i'm not looking at my tulpa most of the time, and i don't really get a clear view of them, but i suppose my version of imposition is simply more casual. i don't really sit down and practice visualizing them, or putting them in front of me and helping them move. i more so am just aware of where they are, and i see what they're doing in mind's eye, it's not something you need to practice too intensely. i follow some advice i found on here some time ago, saying that imposition is not 100% the host's job. if you have their form clear in your mind, and they know how they want to be shaped, then you only need to do a bit of that in the beginning to get started. then you can just leave your mind open to seeing them in the world around you, and it's then the tulpa's job to put themselves there. people really tend to overcomplicate things when it comes to metaphysics, making it seem like it's difficult when it doesn't need to be. if you really believe that you can do it and that it's easy, you're absolutely right. that's literally how it works, you make it so much easier on yourself by doing that. don't overcomplicate things, don't try too hard, don't worry about how difficult it may seem, bc i promise it's actually not.

as for what i actually do with imposition, Kovie just watches and interacts with the environment. observes and feels things, it's really not much, but she likes it. i can imagine simple games might be fun, freeze tag would be cool if you have multiple tulpa.
