I'm going to be following mostly JD1215's and parts of FAQ Man's guides. Now for the questions I have. I've looked around and hand't found a straight answer to this: Can you get to the point where you can touch/feel it? And lastly. Any tips for beginners that aren't in the guides? -BackstaB- August 27, 2012 Author August 27, 2012 Day 2 *sigh* Anyway. I've started the visualization progress. I'm doing a combination of things. Mostly keeping myself thinking about her, keep her in the corner of my eye. And having mild conversations. I will admit, its a bit weird. But i'm confident it will work eventually. There is one spot where I imagine her sitting, hanging out in my room. I can easily trace her outline and everything, and go into pretty good detail. But I don't actually see anything yet. But that's to be expected. I'm going to try to update this once every day or two. I'm not sure how its normally done in the progress logs. But what the hay. I take someones gonna be interested right? ^^ -BackstaB Also, it might be worth mentioning what I plan to do with her personality. I may be utterly wrong with this, feel free to correct me if this is bad. But I plan to give her a few traits, (energetic, timid, maybe another I haven't thought of yet) And of course a bad trait or two. (only one I got so far is easy to back down) And maybe with a bit of tweaking, that's all I'm going to give her, and let her develop her own personality. -BackstaB- August 28, 2012 Author August 28, 2012 Day 3 I'm most likely going to make two updates today. Probably gonna spend (I hope with no distractions) 2-3 hours on Faeya today. I've decided i'm going to use a combination of the open eye, and closed eye method. Does anyone notice a problem with that? Should I stick to one or the other? With the visualization, it's to where I can easily trace her from pretty much wherever I am in my room. That's about it. I'll most likely update again later tonight. But hey...she's gonna be with me a for a long time. Why not make her the best I can! Edit: She was originally modeled after Emoshy. Google if your not familiar. ^^ I experimented with a few different colors, but yellow/pink/black was really the only thing that worked with what I'm going for. Guest applesauce99 August 28, 2012 August 28, 2012 but hey, sorryman's pretty gay at any rate. sorryman's a cool dude, ignore this Fede clone. aaaand that image is so much more badass then like...any canon pony form. One piece of advice, don't rush. I have a habit of rushing stuff to get to the end/result sooner. I make the mistake constantly of rushing forcing so that I can have a tulpa already and enjoy it as its finished, but I have to remind myself all the time that the process is 90% of the fun of having a tulpa - as you're actually creating this character and allowing it to live and develop on its own. Also, give you tulpa lots of love as much as possible, and try out Fede's tones they seem to actually help people.
