theholodoc September 27, 2020 September 27, 2020 Hi Hosts-Soul. I am a psychiatrist, long retired, and a tulpamancer with a tulpa named Flora. I live in Los Angeles California USA. with a very liberal and at times, understanding population, at least in my community. My closest friends accept my tulpamancy, albeit with some reserve. What they are pleased to acknowledge is the effect that my practice has had on my life. It has been very positive (and my life was very positive to begin with). What has changed is my relationship with my wife. I told her when I began, and a number of times subsequently that my intention was to improve myself and thereby my relationship with her. It has. She has become as loving as my tulpa. A fact of which my, and our, friends approve. Lately I have been healing from an injury requiring surgery. I am only after two months partially mobile. I declared to myself, and both my wife and Flora, that all of my energy was going into my healing. My wife has been completely supportive, and is my major (uh, only) care-giver. My tulpa has barely been around. When I have had energy to focus on her she responds, but as if she were in a rather distant place , far away and faintly heard, (she is of course, in our wonderland living her own life) As I have been getting stronger, she has been coming close (and she has been writing some fiction, which she is wont to do). I felt badly that I did not have to energy to fully engage with her as I had in the past. I have written some fiction in which she appears. I think that if you can write Lora into some of your work, it would be a good thing, she would know that despite your difficulties, she is on your mind. and NO, I would not tell the National Health Fund psychiatrist about her. Lora, nor any intentionally created tulpa, is a sign of schizophrenia and her presence is NOT an indication for psychotropic medication. You should tell your non-medically oriented therapist about her, when you can point out how she is helping you with your life. Dr. Bob

My Tulpa's name: Lora Saturn (Lorcia, created in ~2016) "Hi. I am Lora! I'm quite shy towards strangers. My favourite things to do is singing and reading comics with my host, Pascal. We also watch anime together, like "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure"."
