Sandwichman September 3, 2012 September 3, 2012 Hello, I'm still fairly new but I'd like to share what I have. It's better than nothing, or maybe it's not, whatever. For a trance to work you have to focus on whatever your "trancing" about, considering you're here, your tupper. So the question is how do I focus? Well, first you do what every single meditative instruction tells you to do relax. Sit down comfortably, or lie down, whatever your thing is (please don't fall asleep). Then you relax, just....relax. Don't worry about anything, take it easy. It's helpful to count your breaths in and out. 1,2,3,4 in and 1,2,3,4 out. When you feel relaxed, then you focus on whatever it is you want to focus on (your tulpa). Maintain your focus on that. you may begin to feel odd sensations on your body, that is what usually knocks people out of their trans. The important thing is to keep your focus on your subject (your Tulpa) and not the fact that you are in a trance/meditating/tulpaforcing. It's ok if the odd sensations knock you out of your trans at first, you might be like, "Whoa, what's goin' on?", just keep your focus on the matter at hand (your tulpa). If you're thinking, "How do I actually get in the trance?", you don't. Just focusing on whatever the idea is (even if its just something simple like being relaxed) will draw you into it.
