I hope this isn't in the wrong spot! Basically what I'm going to do is update as often as I can about my progress with my tulpa, Keir.

Today is day 1. I planned out Keir's basic appearance and took a while to think. I then visualized Keir as well as I could and then tried talking to them, which went well but obviously there wasn't really any response. I chatted about a few things, not too deep, just mostly small talk and explaining about myself. I also visualised some of Keir's movements so maybe that could encourage them to do things themselves, when they achieve sentience.

If I'm doing something wrong, let me know :)

My tulpa, Keir, will use this colour if they come online later on.

Day One Update: During dinner I chatted a bit to Keir about what I was eating and what I thought about it, so I hope that helped us.

Great start. 👍 Might seem banal or quaint sometimes but tulpas usually just love being involved or given attention. Kind of like cats without the superiority complex. Tulpas appreciate it even if they don't know how to express it yet.

Day 2

Today I talked to Keir about a variety of things and we went through a Tulpamancy guide together, and I might have received a first sign of sentience, I’m hoping it wasn’t me making it up.

I asked what font Keir wanted our google docs progress log to be in, and Keir said “comic sans”. Hopefully that was actually Keir! As I write this, I’m visualising (I think the term is imposing) Keir next to me on my bed.

I always leave a spot clear on my bed while visualising Keir on it.

I also got a few ideas for talking to Keir from a guide, just gonna pop the ideas down here:

  • Talk about things that happened throughout the day.

  • Ask your tulpa if they have any ideas of what to talk about. They might have something they’d like to talk about.

  • Choose an activity to do together - playing a game, watching TV, doing crafts, surfing the internet, anything - and talk about what you’re doing as you’re doing it.

  • Look online for conversation starters or interview questions and ask these to your tulpa (they can ask you some as well and comment on your answers).

  • The story-writing game and word games I mentioned earlier are also helpful here.

  • Proxying is also useful advice for this. If you’re having trouble finding things to say while talking to your tulpa, then let them talk with someone who does have more to say.

  • Singing together is helpful here, as well, since you just need to follow along with the lyrics rather than thinking of things to talk about.

That’s them!

And we also tried an exercise where I said a word and Keir said what that word reminded them of, here are the results:

Beautiful : lady

Bright : day

Candle : light

Words : paper

I’m hoping that I’m not parroting and this is actual sentience, ahaha-

(excuse the bold font, its being weird and not letting me change it back!

Some great ideas going on there. You can also try to ask your tulpa about her favourite colour, ( and if you get answer you could write it on your hand to remember about her, works for me), and listen to some music, while asking Keir for her opinion. I would stay away for thing that don't engage your tulpa, such as watching TV, but I guess anything can work with proper mindset.  About signs of sentience and general signs from tulpa - always take them without a doubt as hers ( not my personal experience, read about it somewhere few days ago). Also Elzu says that having strong emotions towards your tulpa really helps. He also says that I'm too stupid to learn how to do this fancy colour stuff for tulpa writing ( also he can't write).

Wish you both best luck in your development.

Also, stop reading this and go appreaciate your tulpa.

Thank you! Those are good ideas, thank you. Oo, and the coloured writing is under the capital A button with a grey line underneath at the top of the reply when you're writing it, if that's what you mean

I also am now feeling head pressure as we browse pinterest together! That’s apparently a good thing and can mean something's going right. Not sure though.

I then spent some time with Keir, looking through pinterest and browsing this site; we spent hours talking and looking through things. Mostly I spoke but I think I got the occasional word or two from them, and I'm hopeful we're going to progress nicely. I'm going to check back and and talk to them a bit before I go to bed, but I don't plan on doing much else today.

However, tomorrow I won't be able to talk to Keir as much, so I'm wondering if I should spend a bit more time with them today. I might set up a sort of guide to how much time I should spend on each day doing different things.

I might also try forcing a few basic personality traits to guide them along, but of course they can always deviate from those in future. I'm going to start actively talking to Keir when I'm doing things, even if they're mundane, so I can at least squeeze a little bit of tulpa time into every day.

Head pressure is a sign that sth is going on down there. Better get used to it happening from time to time. If you won't be able to talk to her tomorrow as much just tell her why, and hmmm, promise you will spend some time together another day? I don't know about forcing a personality traits, I would just leave everything to tulpa but that's your choice. Also there is no mundane things to young tulpa( I guess?), so feel free to talk about anything that comes to your mind, just focus on Keir while doing so.

Yeah, I've seen various people say that forcing is good so I thought i'd look into it, but if nothing seems right then I'm just going to leave it.

Cool, thank you!
