TundraCoral May 27, 2021 May 27, 2021 Hey guys so I have a quick question regarding whether or not this is my tulpa or if its just me. Basically, i have a tulpa which can speak to me in mind voice, now what I'm concerned about is how fast this was achieved. She became vocal one day when I decided to kind of "assign" a voice and then she started talking. Now what concerns me is how quickly and suddenly this happened. I believe this was only a week after I started making my tulpa and prior to her being vocal I got no signs of communication at all. I see in this community people usually describe the tulpas as having trouble communicating early like for example only short sentences or head pressures. I didn't have this, and suddenly she became vocal and could speak perfectly. So I'm just wondering if someone can help me identify if it's actually my tulpa speaking or just me? I think it's my tulpa as im not parroting, at least I don't think I am, so I'm not sure. Thanks.
Guest May 27, 2021 May 27, 2021 SheShe spoke to me within 20 minutes of declaring I want a tulpa. Her own voice, fully vocal, autonomous, volitional, and later confirmed independence on day 1. It happens. You likely had prior experience be it from roll playing, theater, writing fiction, active imagination, or just lucky. Things to watch for: 1. Emotional bleed (emotions from her) 2. Independent thought (arguments or debat) 3. Self-forcing (she pops up without intentionally forcing) Don't worry about it either way. All my system was like that.

Also I have another quick question, how can I achieve number 3? I can speak to her fine when I'm actively listening to her but when I'm not I can't hear her. I'm wondering if there's a way to improve this so that she will speak regardless of whether I'm listening or should I keep forcing?

You are essentially making them comfortable with everything you do, associating them to the activities such that it's natural to think of them during these activities. If you force your headmates when you play games consistently for instance, then when you go to play a game, they'll be there chiming in. It will improve with time as long as you continue to force then. You're getting your mind in the habbit of thinking of them when doing things.
Ice909 June 2, 2021 June 2, 2021 I agree with Bear on this. My first tulpa, Esper, became vocal within just an hour of me initially forcing him. For some people, that's just how it is. Hey there, the name's Bryan. In system Re:Body(In order of the rainbow): Sean, Esper, Blinky, Compact, Janey, Kyle, Gwen'd, Gwen, Emily, Rollin, Waynin, Trease, Layy, Justin, Chloe, Zachery, and Elliot. I've been here a while. Much longer than I thought I'd be. Our system was founded October 2nd, 2018. In early 2020, we decided that due to our systems exponential growth, we'd limit who would be active. Now, every month, we do a check to see who wishes to be in dormancy and who wishes to be active. Currently, for the month of April, 2023, we've got myself(Bryan), Janey(Co-host), Emily, Layy, Chloe, and Esper(sub-rep). After over 2 long years, we can finally switch :) Bryan is currently swapped in as host, Esper is sub-rep. Luminesce June 2, 2021 June 2, 2021 The depth and realness of your experience of your tulpa is what'll matter, so you should just worry about forcing and developing them well, rather than if something was "really them" or not. The answer is always "It could be" Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

There's no use worrying over "unconscious parroting" or whatever. That's what a tulpa is. If you aren't consciously parroting, congrats, it's your tulpa. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
