So, I was laying down this morning, and this question came to mind, and I thought I’d ask it here. So, essentially the question is… if you’re having physical symptoms, such as headache, stomach pains, or anything like that… and when your tulpa switches at all with you, will they feel the same symptoms? Idk, its a random question and I’m just kinda wondering for the most part. Still in the process of creating a tulpa, so I was wondering.

If they're truly physical, a tulpa will always feel them just as the host was, yes. In less direct cases, like feeling nervous (stomach?), or stressed (tensed?), or other brain/mind-induced feelings, a tulpa may not feel those ways and so the body may experience relief from them. Not a guarantee that a tulpa won't feel just as the host did, of course, just that it's possible.

But no, pain, hunger, or other such very physical sensations will not go away from switching. At least, not to any extent a host couldn't do on their own, like along the lines of dissociating yourself from pain, or just.. forgetting the sensation, like of hunger or such, lol.

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

To add to that, headmates can feel the sensations differently when switched in. Ashley's sense of taste is different, and she is immune to hunger pain, she would just prefer not to eat than eat whatever it is I have. Oind of like when you get into that mood where you're hungry but don't feel like eating because nothing strikes your fancy.

I have noticed that with concentration I can limit my symptoms if I'm sick, including stopping a runny nose or cough though it takes some effort to keep it going. SheShe can just do it naturally. Some symptoms are reduced or removed when she's switched in.
