mwdruid June 12, 2023 June 12, 2023 Hey I'm semi new to this, even though I accidentally created a tulpa a few years ago I had no idea what tulpas were until a few months ago. The thing is, I've retained a really powerful imagination from childhood. I can make up extremely vivid and detailed visual fantasies on a whim, and building large, coherent fantasy worlds in my head has always been a favorite pass time of mine. I've also always been naturally capable of imposition (something I didn't have a word for until a few months ago) and have often imposed elements of my fantasies onto real life. So when I decided to try deliberately making a tulpa for the first time a month ago, I just kind of out of reflex started imposing her everywhere. At first I was just puppeting her, and bringing her with me to different places, both passive and active forcing. Then, after a few days, she started doing things on her own, and communicating through facial expressions and gestures. It really caught me off guard the first time she reacted to something I said. Now she's comfortable moving around and is always bugging me and being silly. It took a while for her to start talking to me, and still often I can tell she is trying to say something but I can't "hear" it. But she has been great and her development has been going good I think. But I do worry a little, since I pretty much did everything I had read in guides but in reverse. I'm wondering if anybody else has had a similar experience? I'd love to hear other's stories and thoughts on the matter.
Luminesce June 12, 2023 June 12, 2023 (edited) It's possible to develop a tulpa through imposition as your main interaction, yeah. The same way imposition has been our main activity together for years now, since we don't really enjoy wonderlanding (and our visualization clarity is bad anyway). Of course it's not recommended as imposition is seen as quite an advanced skill (and an odd one for beginners to dive into, at that). But if it comes easily, there's nothing wrong with it.
