trewqpoiuuy November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I've been thinking about booking some time in an isolation tank to tulpaforce with no distractions. Anyone tried this/want to try this? "I know your mind much better than you do. You use it, I live in it." -Amy
Barktooth November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 Whoa. I'd probably do it, but where the fudge would I even find one?
trewqpoiuuy November 6, 2012 Author November 6, 2012 Just google "isolation tank ". Lots of spas have them. "I know your mind much better than you do. You use it, I live in it." -Amy
TulpaCouple November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 Supposedly we have on in our town. My work has a bit of a contest going and the winner gets two free tickets to go to it. Would be pretty awesome, I have been trying to win. If not, I'll just have to go pay for it myself, lol.
Stevebat November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I might have to give this a try, There is one fairly close to where I live.
Guest Albatross_ November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I use something similar. Pic related: It's called an 'armchair' and it's worked really well for me so far.

Slushie November 6, 2012 November 6, 2012 I don't know that this would be a good way to force. Trying to develop your tulpa by flooding your mind with hallucinations is like trying to hear a phone call better by turning on 20 different radios around you. Astral project on my face, brother!
TulpaCouple November 7, 2012 November 7, 2012 Unless the hallucinations could be focused. They sound to me much like intrusive thoughts are, only more 'realistic' because there is nothing for your mind to grab on to, so you are able to fully become involved in whatever hallucinations you are seeing. I could imagine this being a way for those who want to experience a tulpa-state. Very easy to let go of the physical sensations of the body when you aren't experiencing any to distract you. But I guess I won't know until I try it.
