i am currently agnostic on how possible it is, but people who are much more competent and deep in the exploration of consciousness and magic have said "there is a there there" so i don't think it is a waste of time. however i don't think you would just make an omnipotent tulpa all of a sudden, and anything you achieve might only be perceivable by you and your tulpa. magick is difficult to do publicly i've heard, compared to private magick. also recommend practicing light magick but i can't tell you what to do. but either way, even with that it can be very satisfying and magical.

yes, in magick it is common to make servitors that have no feelings or personalities that carry out tasks. idk how effective it will be to try, but with those you don't want to be attached to them and let them dissipate after their task is complete. if you are wanting a friend, a servitor probably would not be much of a person, or they will become a person and the fact they are a servant might mentally distress them

practicing the four immeasurables is a good idea. also called the 4 divine abodes. it helps yourself but from an internal way that doesn't want anything external. it is the meditations of sympathetic joy. loving kindness, compassion, and equanimity. for whatever reason, loving kindness is the most common of the 4 people like to practice. sit in meditation and generate loving emotions by visualizing puppies or something that makes you feel warm and fuzzy, then wish for yourself to be free from suffering and free from ill will. then wish that upon other individuals, from ones you like, are neutral with, and also wish for even your enemies to be free from suffering and ill will, and for all to be truly happy. then you move on to wishing for the world or entire universe to be free from suffering and free of ill will

 

that's simplified a little and the primary form of white magick i'm away of, and it is from buddhism.
