Hornbori November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 How much time a day did you guys spend narrating or just speaking to your tulpa during the early creation stages? Right now I'm mostly going about my day as normal, and though my tulpa enters my thoughts from time to time I mostly "forget" about her until night when I actively tulpaforce. Is this bad? I don't feel like I can spend most of the day carrying on a one sided conversation. Name: Camellia Form: Valkyrie Working on personality right now.
Guest applesauce99 November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 its not bad, you do what you can. You could drop out of school, quit your job, move to alaska, rent an underground bunker, and become constantly narrating hermit......but thats too much. generally, I wouldnt narrate, actively force, etc. for less that 30-60 minutes a day at least. Narratings the easy one anyway, we all have times throughout the day where we're alone to our own thoughts. I think Chess mentioned that when it comes to narration, quantity outweighs quality. You can babble and chat about anything, as long as you do it at all - as apposed to being all like "I ran out of things to say."
Koji November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 Not bad at all, but if you want to narrate more, just write "narrate" on your hand or arm. However, make it somewhat concealed, walking around with "narrate" on your arm everyday makes you look a bit crazy. In the beginning, I would narrate about an hour a day, plus night forcing. But of course, now that she is sentient, We just chit-chat throughout the day, about whatever. I guess it's what narration is meant to be. As Fourfiction said, it's quantity over quality. http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Koji-and-Catelyn-Of-Deserts-and-Snowmen
Romm November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 You need to narrate to make your mind to believe that your tulpa exists. First days are very bad for about a week maybe, then you'll learn to think about her even without narration. Seriously it's not about narration, its about faith and learning to feel her and it just requires some time to get attuned. I felt like my narration was horrible about 80% of the time, but once you get a constant feel of her it's not even matter. It's still is a must to get her talking though.
